The scenery is very beautiful, but I find that the beds need to be improved as I battled to sleep the time I was there. The king bed was formulated by joining 2 quarter beds together and the line that joins the beds together was really uncomfortable and made it very difficult for me to sleep. I wanted to stay much longer but I thought of how uncomfortable the bed is and decided not to extend my stay. Another issue I did not like was the temperature of water in the shower. Middleburg is cold and found the lukewarm water not pleasant for morning cold showers. I think the rest was excellent, especially the food was very nice. I had the best lamb chops I have ever tasted. One last issue was the doors that separate the rooms have to be stronger as to improve the privacy between the two joining rooms. You always could hear all that was happening in the next room.

Aesthetically it was nice and cosy as per the images shown on the website ,
the directions and signage where nice and clear , the check in process was smooth and host was helpful & responsive
i had issues with the water pressure , then hot water wasnt coming out - they did assist but the issue came back
i also had to step out late when i came back the access control would not stop ringing - it rang the whole time , had to sleep through it as it was late in the night but geez that was terrible and i couldnt establish why it was like that .
the breakfast was also not great.
