Great room on the upper floor with a balcony overlooking the nice little street with view up to the Duomo. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast was fine. Parking was easy and only a very short walk away. Piazza Armerina is definitely worth a visit - not only because of the Casa Romana del Casale. The little city is very, very beautiful.

Everything was wonderful. The owner was so accomodating as our arrival time kept changing. The location is great. Staying in a B&B like Xenia makes you feel more a part of the culture vs a hotel. The rooms were larger than expected, and very comfortable. The bathrooms larger than expected and the shower was great. There was a little restaurant/shop open down the street with sampling board with arancino, different sausages, different cheeses, breads and magnificent wine. Proprietor was very friendly, a great way to feel a part of the local culture. I wouldn't hesitate to book Xenia again when travelling to Piazza Armerina.

The breakfast was OK. The location was good for walking around the town with a variety of eating places, and good advice from the host about them.
The advice from the host on car parking, however, was not exactly accurate: the first night I was kindly accompanied by the host who showed me where I could park the car (outside the white lines within a local parking area) for the night. The following afternoon on returning to the car park, however, the same "parking space" was occupied by another car, with a traffic policeman placing a ticket on that car's windscreen. So, my advice is to follow the official road signs for car parking. Via Roma, going uphill towards Piazza Garibaldi (only 5 min. from the property) has a number of Parking places. There was also an initial problem finding the property as the address was given as "via Umberto 58" (maybe by booking.com itself) but it should be "via Umberto I" (with a capital "I") as google navigation took us into a blind alley called via Umberto Parisi which has house numbers only up to number 41.
