This cabin lives like your own home--comfortable, clean and convenient to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Only 5 minutes to either town. And you're right around the corner from a 6 acre community lake, so it's great for taking family walks, exercising the dog or catch-and-release fishing. Swaying Pines is now in it's 21st year as a vacation rental and we continue to make improvements every year. * 2024 Interior painted tongue & groove ceilings; tongue & groove also installed on the covered portion of the deck * 2020 updates: Electric motion sofa; driveway paved and parking expanded * 2018 updates: Laminate flooring, kitchen remodel, new recliner * 2017 update: new Nordic hot tub with easy-lift cover * 2016 updates: 50% larger deck and roof; Walk-in Shower on 2nd floor PLUS * HOT TUB offers plenty of privacy; steps for easier access * Walk or fish at the PRIVATE POND 250 feet away (no license needed) * Small yard area with HORSESHOE PITS * Electronic DARTBOARD * 55-inch Flat Screen TV in living room; 32' TV lower BR; 32' flat screen TV upper BR * HIGH SPEED INTERNET (wifi) by Charter Spectrum * CABLE TV includes Local and Network channels * BOARD GAMES The kitchen is well-equipped with quality cookware (mostly hard anodized), glass bakeware, half-sheet baking pans, pizza pan, wood cutting board and knife block, grilling utensils and small electrics (Blender, crockpot, toaster). Swaying Pines has 2 bedrooms and an open loft for sleeping quarters to accommodate 6 guests. We do not recommend the full bed in the loft for adult couples since it's only 54 inches wide and access to a bathroom would be either going through the queen bedroom on the second floor or walking downstairs to the main floor bathroom. It's ideal for children and teens, or maybe a single adult who doesn't mind the walk to the bathroom at night. The first floor bedroom features a king log bed with its own access door to the main floor bath. Swaying Pines' location is right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg--only a few minutes' drive to either town. Well-paved roads with no scary mountain roads. Just a steady climb that most vehicles can easily manage. 🐾 🐾 HOW TO REQUEST A PET STAY 🐾 🐾 Swaying Pines welcomes adult dogs up to 75 pounds. Sorry--no puppies, kittens or cats. The pet stay fee is $125.00 plus tax and is charged PER PET. We appreciate any supporting details so we can determine if you pet is a good fit for the cabin. We may be able to consider two dogs. Dogs must be experienced travelers. We recently returned from our stay at Swaying Pines. Like others, we read all the reviews and looked at the photos from this home. Even with all the positives, we were still nervous to arrive because you just never know what you will get. Well, we got exactly what we wanted and the reviews/photos were all on point. Very clean, very comfortable and very well stocked with everything that we needed. We had our pup with us and they even had a jar of dog treats for her. The home is close to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at this cabin during the Christmas holiday for 7 days. We appreciated the fact that there was a small Christmas tree and other holiday decorations throughout the main living area. The cabin is located very close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, which made it easy to drive to attractions in these areas. The cabin is located in a quiet area. We enjoyed walks on the property, fishing, and feeding the ducks. Amy (Host) was readily available to us when we had questions and was super attentive and professional. We would definitely stay in this cabin again if we travelled back to this area.

The cabin was exactly as pictured and Amy was so easy to communicate with. The small touches throughout the cabin were appreciated and my kids both loved the wooden toy train! The cabin is perfectly located between Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge but nicely tucked away for peaceful evenings. I loved the iPad/tablet which also provided recommendations and addresses. Thank you so much for sharing this piece of heaven with us. I would 10/10 recommend this property!

The property is just as it was explained. It was cozy and nice for our stay. It was loud during the day cause they are redoing a house on the hill next to the cabin but other then that everything was great. We have verizon and had no service here but there wifi is amazing i highly recommend this place.

Perfect location in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Easy to get to without steep mountain climbs. The cabin is beautiful and so clean. Great outdoor deck and yard for the puppers. We highly recommend it. Our hosts are on the ball with questions and all around communicating. We will be back

Great location nestled just off the Parkway, easy driving. Very responsive host and well kept cabin. Enjoyed walking around the lake with our dog! Kitchen had plenty of cookware and amenities. No issues, would definitely return!

The cabin is perfectly situated between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Super clean and inviting. We enjoyed the hot tub and even had a bear siting (from a distance) driving up to the cabin. We also really like the pond and did lots of laps. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We were greeted with an easy electronic check in and so many little touches that made us feel welcome and at home the minute we walked in the door. I think the owners have thought of everything! I don't want to give away all the special touches for those that may choose to stay here, but we appreciated it all so much! The beds are super important when sleeping away from home and this home has such comfy awesome beds! We also really appreciated the fact that there was a baby gate. We put the gate up and didn't allow our dog upstairs. He would've been fine of course upstairs, but it's the same rule in our own home because he's a sock bandit and it was nice to keep things for our littlest traveler the same routine as at home. The internet connection was awesome, which was important because of work and school, so thank you for that also! The roads leading to the cabin were easy and not massive steep hills like most other homes in the mountains. The location was perfect for daily excursions and it was a short drive to many locations. We picked up after our dog, but the house across the street had people renting that allowed their dog to wander over and go in the grass. We didn't sign up to pick up after their dog too. That was an unfortunate frustration for the last few days we were there, but not a deal breaker. The lake was gorgeous and we saw 3 bear in the stream! I think the house would benefit from a dehumidifier and renters wouldn't mind monitoring it. Overall, wonderful!!

This was our first trip to TN and we loved it! We could not have asked for a better location - so easy and close to all the local attractions. The kids enjoyed having their own space in the house and we had our fair share of visits from neighboring bears. We brought our lab baby with us and he really loved his daily walks around the fishing pond. We felt very welcome with the notes and treats that were left for us and felt right at home. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We got away for 4 days and rented this cabin. We all loved the cabin. had everything we needed. great location between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg. Only thing was we thought the pond was with in walking distance. well it is if you walk through the woods and deal with a drop off. We had to drive over to the pond to fish. But all in all it was a fun place to stay. we hope to be back again next year.

Our family a spent a week in this cozy and lovely cabin. Equipped with everything you woukd need. Location could not be better, did not have to spend time driving yo various sites we visited. Beds very comfortable and bathrooms were big. Would recommend to friends and anyone planning a visit to Smoky Mountains

This property is so well maintained. It is clean and well stocked with little amenities that make running to the store in town unnecessary. The kids enjoyed the pond fishing everyday. Catch and release was a perfect introduction to fishing for them. Our dog was right at home laying on the deck while we enjoyed the fabulous hot tub. This place also has an amazing location. Close enough to Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge but secluded enough to get away from it all. The hosts have thought of everything to make this the perfect spot for a family vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was super close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved hanging out on the back deck in the hot tub, playing horseshoes and game nights at the kitchen table. Perfect to come back to after a long day out!

Upon walking in, we felt like we were home. My son loved playing horseshoes in the yard. The hot tub is a great size even though we didn't use it. Amy was a pleasure to work with during the entire process. If you are thinking about staying here, don't delay anymore and just hit the book it button. We only hope this is available when we come back to Gatlinburg!

This was a perfect little pet friendly cabin for our family of 5 adults. Lots of fun games to play and quiet!! So many places we’ve stayed at have constant maintenance noise and people noise. This was a serene neighborhood and so easy to get to between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There are no crazy steep roads or driveways. The communication was great with the owner and we had no issues. Would definitely recommend!
