The hotel has a museum depicting the history of the area, which is fascinating for people interested in history. The formal lounge in the hotel, also documents a lot of the history.
The food in the restaurant is outstanding. Highly recommended to all travelers.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean.
All staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. It is their mantra. The food was very good. No one could go hungry there. The accommodation is comfortable.

We were a group of 6 senior citizens and we stayed the the self catering unit. This beautiful house was very comfortable and was well equipped and very close to the hotel and so we were able to access the dining room, where the food was excellent. The manager and staff were all very helpful and friendly and it was great to have a tour of the old pump and chimney stack next door. The museum on the premises is very informative.
