The stay was comfortable and value for money and I can recommend this guesthouse.

We had the comfort of a house to stay in , everything was available. Even the art work in the house was beyond fantastic.

I can't complain about anything.

Lower your expectations, you might enjoy it

The hostess Salome, welcomed us to check in earlier than their usual check in time which made things much easier for us. She was also helpful whenever we needed help

Was hoping for peaceful night in place that I wanted to visit for years.

Room fair. Shower lovely due to refreshing cream soap.

Noisy! No idea was house shared by three sets of people coming and going at different times. So much noise ( on lovely wooden floors) when anyone walked through the house. Some arrived late and others left at crack of dawn. Inconvenient that car is parked some distance away especially because it was raining and there was load shedding. Was unpleasant to go back to car with gutter streaming water over lock to garage.

Comfortable beds & nice room. Power outage when there is a big storm.

The rooms are very nicely done, the beds are comfortable, and most needs are met within the B&B. The owner was friendly and offered to lock our vehicle up in his secure parking area when we couldn't get in the other parking gate due to power outage. We were unfortunately not able to use the shower or the TV or get to properly make use of our stay due to the whole area having a power outage, and no water being able to be pumped either.

The location isn't that great. We weren't informed before our arrival that when there is a big storm, the whole area sits without power and water, and therefore we arrived to know that we couldn't have a shower or make coffee, watch TV or anything else basically. It is suggested that this kind of thing be mentioned on the booking sites, so that guests can be prepared when they know there is a storm in the area. No discount or compensation was offered at all, to make up for the loss of properly being bale to use the facility.
