Just wow

Debbie was brilliant on first meet and showing us everything we need to know... the room was a double and a single bed , very spacious and warm , brilliant layout of the room... a very nice comfy seat, good tv , and the room was lovely and warm...I said to my dad , this was up there without doubt...

Cant be anything as I didnt have anything to complain about and I know if there was a problem it would of been dealt with...

Great room but don't expect breakfast

This was a great location for our purposes, as we have family living very near there that we were visiting , secure room too. 20 min walk to town though. Spacious room, good facilities.

The property was advertising as 'Ivy Green B and B but no breakfast was offered, so we had to go out and get that separately. It should be called Ivy Green Inn instead. Key to room was very hard to use. Parking was very limited - literally one space and there are two rooms.

It is below expectation.

The location is easy to access.

The room heaters are not working. The environment is not conducive. Pictures posted does not portrays the exact look of the rooms and the environments

It was good value for money and fit for my purpose of somewhere to sleep after a night out drinking in Huddersfield

Another great stay at the ivy green

based above a pub, and what a great pub it is with friendly staff and locals

nothing to dislike, just a great value and affordable place to stay, various takeaway food outlets actually accross the road too !

Nice bed, but load music from downstairs. So I had a comfortable bad sleep.

Kinda had what I needed.

Was pretty basic, which I don’t mind. It was just, with the room being above the pub I couldn’t sleep due to the 90s club music being played load till 2pm.

Not much space to sit in the kitchen for more than 2 people.

Lovely place at a low price.

Lovely staff. Clean rooms. Bathroom well-maintained for a shared room. The common area was well-kept too. Lots of space. Pub also lovely; the locals are friendly.

No hairdryer in the room.

Cheap price and very comfortable bed.

Wifi did not work. Very noisy as the bedroom was situated right above the bar, which had music playing until 11.15pm

Ivy Green - not recommended for a good night's sleep.

It was cost effective.

The bar below was noisy as was the road outside. It didn't feel secure. There was access to the rooms from the bar below. The locks on the bedroom doors were not very secure.

Everthing worked out great! Location, staff, cleanliness,value, surrounding are. Thoroughly pleased.

Overall, clean, friendly, well-priced.

Breakfast was unavailable. Location at short notice booking due to train strike was reasonably priced and well located for where I needed to get to the next day. Staff were very helpful and accommodating allowing me to check out slightly later which was a big help. Thank you :o)

A friendly, warm welcome

The staff were warm & welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. A clean & warm room, sitting room and shared bathroom. I'll be back when visiting in the very near future!

Friendly staff welcoming to 2 rooms above their pub, though a bit loud and budget-feeling

Comfortable bed and effective curtains that blocked out the light. Friendly and welcoming staff, and decent value. Located on main road with bus right into the center.

There was some noise from the bar below until they closed at 11pm one of the evenings. Didn't feel quite as clean as I would have liked. No breakfast offered despite B&B name.

Everthing worked out great! Location, staff, cleanliness,value, surrounding are. Thoroughly pleased.

Easy to get to on foot and public transport. Room was larger than expected and was clean and warm. All staff were friendly and extremely helpfull.

Nothing to complain about.
