Fantastic place to stay, great atmosphere and the owners and staff could not have been more hospitable. Also helped with local knowledge of where to go and organised black cat for our items back to the airport.

Amazing lodge, Mark and Abbie were incredibly hospitable, organising lifts from the local bus stop, proving great prices for rental snowboard equipment and a very clean and comfortable room and facilities. The bar and restaurant provide a great range of delicious food and drinks including local and western options and homemade Chi-hai (lemon sour). 2min walk to the snow runs, other restaraunts and onsens. Highly recommend! Thanks

The lodge is pretty much a ski in ski out lodge. You won’t find this with all of the other Madarao lodges.The owners Mark and Abi were so helpful and went out of their way to make our stay easy and wonderful. BTW Abi is an amazing chef! Her food was awesome and cheap! Very friendly environment.

Perfect location for the slopes - only a 50m walk. Room was cozy and warm. Kitchen was tiny but had everything we needed.
We didn't seem to recieve the warm welcome that others have reviewed about. It was towards the end of the season and we felt a bit like an inconvience to the owners.
