Wonderful little spot

The Chinese lady who works/manages the location is an absolute angel. What a lovely woman. She was so helpful and such a kind soul. The location is amazing for views of Fuji in the morning (only in certain rooms). You are two streets away from amazing views though

The place is a little old, but it adds to the charm!

I stayed in the twin room with private ensuite. It was very clean and spacious. Our host was so lovely and generous. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. I would stay there again in the future. The accomodation is in a quiet street and is an easy, 10 minute walk to the shops, major bus station and the Swan Lake Pleasure Cruise. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you

Very good value, great location near the lake shore and terrific view

Bed was comfortable, blankets were warm, the hosts were very sweet, and I was greeted by a Fuji-San view from my room. Its full of Showa-era charm and I would stay here again.

Not much to dislike, the bathroom is very small and the hot water takes a little while to come on.

Great place to stay longer, relax and explore the Fuji lakes area

Very warm and helpful owner. House exterior looks exactly like in the photo. Quiet and forested location where houses are far apart and no shops around, which means having a car is more convenient. With a car, easy to explore other Fuji lakes and sight-seeing spots in Fuji Five Lakes area. Ample free parking. Dining area is spacious, free flow of hot and cold water, with toaster and crockery. Room has aircon/heater that works well. Comfortable bed and pillow.

Nothing, except the ensuite bath and toilet (without bidet) is very cramped and on a higher level than the room. Better to book a room without bath and toilet, as the common bidet toilet is gender-separated and very clean.

Marie is probably the kindest host I've ever met. Her pension is very quiet, clean and conformable. There is even a Ghibli vibe.

Fuji San view, cleanliness, comfort, prompt response, commitment to hospitality, free parking and microwave downstairs.

Children playing in the corridor till late. Adults speaking loudly. It probably was because of one family.

Extremely hospitable hosts. They cooked dinner and breakfast for me, gave me a ride, were very understanding about check in and check out times. And did their best to communicate through an online translator. The rooms are clean, I was upgraded to an ensuite, the wifi worked well, the hot water and air co/heating worked ok. Overall more than fair value for the money.

The bath was amazing! Cute little place and the lady who runs it is sooo sweet. She gave us snacks and tea.

Someone took my friends shoes from the genkan. Not the staffs fault really but was a bit awkward ... Was some bugs inside, had a mosquito in the room while I was sleeping.

Clean rooms, reasonable priced, and superb hospitality!

Very reasonable priced, comfortable rooms. The whole pension had a cute style, and everything was absolutely clean. Room included all necessary amenities, and a big plus for having a shower and a toilet in the room. We felt very welcomed by the owner, and her hospitality was exceptional. Even with just 1-night stay, the stay became an amazing memory.
