The staff are amazing and Hung Shing Yeh beach is my favorite! As is Lamma. Nice hiking and just a great retreat/balance to Hong Kong. It’s a bit of a hike from the ferry, esp in the heat, so don’t bring big suitcases!
The rooms are VERY small. When I got upgraded to a room with a balcony, it was much nicer, even though the toilet was in the shower, haha! It’s also a bit mildewy (humid Hong Kong) and there were marks of mosquito killings on the walls — this could be cleaned.

This is an excellent getaway accommodation from the city. Located at the beach, nature all around, quiet during the evenings and the nights. Athmosphere is laid-back, tranquil and positively off-beat. (The oft-mentioned energy station does not bother the eye, or nor the ear.) Rooms are small and basic, but clean and comfy and the price-quality ratio is excellent. Balcony is a real plus during the evenings. Some tips: pack light; there is no motorized transport available from the harbours. Restaurants may close relatively early. The small grocery stores are located in Yung Shue Wan.

The rooms were too small. No pictures to see at the time of booking. We only see the room when we get there.
