This is my second time visiting Honobono. To be clear this place is not amazingly clean or high-tech or anything like that. But Masa has done a great job of making it feel like a second home for travellers to Kawaguchiko. It is very welcoming and warm and even if the weather isn't great, it's a great place to just stay and pass time. For the price I would recommend this place over anywhere nearby - especially if you like the hostel vibe.
The onsen bath is out of order but otherwise nothing.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room felt spacious and clean. The kitchen was shared and always kept clean. They provided free coffee and shuttle transfer at certain times. The host is very kind and welcoming.

Very cozy place
Location is not easily accessible. I had to walk more than a kilometer to the location with a big trolley bag from where the bus dropped me. Later i came to know from the owner that pick up and drop facility is available from the kawaguchiko station. But it is not mentioned anywhere in the booking page. The owner dropped me to the station in his car.
