We were upgraded to a larger first floor room overlooking the swimming pool. Really nice spacious room with comfortable bed. Black stone floor and bathroom was very swish. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool which we didn't use as we visited some amazing beaches in southern Corfu. Some good local restaurants if you hunt them out.
The hotel is on quite a busy road and the local town is not the best - recommend you have a car to visit other areas of this beautiful island.

At first glance, the welcome is pleasant.
But once you're in the room, it's disastrous!

Impossible to turn off a fan in the shower room, which sounds like an airplane
No pool towels available, It's forbidden to take the one of the bedroom. It was clearly told to go and buy one.
We made a late check-in, offered by the manager. We were charged for this, which is called a THEFT !

Really helpful staff. Not many people in hotel and always a place to park the car.
Breakfast was nice too with several options.
Room was nice but equipment was very cheap plastic, shower not working properly, refrigerator randomly turning off thus making puddle on the floor, air conditioner not properly working.
In addition, as we had a room in first floor, there was always water dripping from 2nd floor balcony - seems there air conditioner was working better.
Very poor sound insulation - made me wake up in the night when people were walking nearby and other people showering felt like its raining (it worked like white noise so actually helped to sleep).

Zatrzymaliśmy się z rodziną w 6 osób. Nasze kłopoty zaczęły się od razu... Otrzymaliśmy dwa pokoje , jeden w budynku głównym - drugi w budynku obok - śmierdziało jakby coś się paliło. Pani z recepcji sprawdziła pokój i uznała że jest ok, przy tym była nie miła - na zasadzie " co się czepiasz człowieku". Zdjęcia oczywiście są tak zrobione, że nie widać za ogrodzeniem głównej drogi , TIR, autokarów etc. Głośno , nie miło - NIE POLECAM DLA RODZIN Z DZIEĆMI!!!!! Jeśli nic ci nie przeszkadza - to ten hotel jest dla ciebie. I uwaga - ZAPŁATA Z GÓRY!!!! Całość. Zdjęcia nie oddają tego co jest na miejscu. Nie polecam. Cena zbyt wysoka nie adekwatna do obiektu. W łazience poza fajnymi płytkami, zdewastowane sprzęty (na zdjęciach) i przez 3 dni jakie tam byliśmy nie było ciepłej wody. Lipa. Basen po 20.00 oddzielony liną. Nikt niczego nie pilnuje. Brak dozoru.

Booked this property 17th-22nd July 23 for our family with a mix of teenagers and adults. Do not believe what the photos or positive reviews say, pay close attention to the negative reviews and customer photos. If you are going to book do so with absolute caution, we was not expecting what we got at all. We booked 3 double rooms and was allocated rooms 20, 23 and 24 and can verify that none of the rooms we received were of the standard shown in the pictures.
There were many issues but the smell was something else, I don’t know what has been used in the rooms but whatever it is has left a potent chemical smell which hits the back of the nose and throat with a burning sensation and leaves you with a nasty headache, after 4 of the 5 nights we could not take any more and booked an early flight home, spending the evening at the airport and on the flight was a better option than sleeping there another night. The air conditioning unit in one of the rooms wasn’t working. There was issues with the hot water, nothing for 5-10 minutes, a blast of scolding water for up to a minute and then nothing again. The cleaning of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired, filthy floors, dirty fridges, bathroom unsanitary, bed linen did not appear very clean and fresh, towels were not washed just folded and put on the bed if left for washing. All of the rooms had a mismatch of furniture, bedside tables that were falling to pieces, fridges that were old, dirty and mouldy, sinks that were cracked and dirty, tiling that had just been tiled over with raw sharp edges, dirty old stained mattresses with broken springs, poor fitting mattress covers/sheets, some kind of shelving box made from plywood with rough edges and no supporting structure, water leaking under the sink, no vanity unit or anywhere to put toiletries, nowhere to hang towels (used the coat hangers). There are no door handles on the outside of the rooms, you need to use the key in the lock to try close the door.
When all of this was raised at the property they just deny anything is wrong, give excuses and just say that nobody has complained before and all of their reviews are excellent, the cleaning is excellent because they employ a cleaner. For the hot water they said it is not possible for there to be any issues because they have solar hot water (maybe they need to pay closer attention to the collapsed solar panels). They also said we were not happy because we had booked a budget room, nowhere on booking.com does it refer to any budget rooms and even if it had I would expect a budget room in a 4 star hotel to be of a habitable standard. We did not unpack at all during the stay it was that bad, even having to repack toiletries after every use.
The pool was dirty and cloudy it is very clear they have invested in things to try make the property look more luxury than it actually is and have used very clever camera trickery to hide what it is actually like.
We thankfully salvaged the holiday by using a pleasant beach bar/club with a pool where there was lovely service and atmosphere alongside clean and usable facilities and chartering a boat on one day, only returning to the property briefly to shower and change and to sleep, returning as late as possible at night and leaving early morning. So you are aware the beach is more than a 5 minute walk and will be substantially more for very young/old.
We are currently negotiating compensation from the property, some of which was promised during our stay but has yet to materialise. If you have free cancellation I would seriously consider using it if you have already booked. This place is an absolute con and a very apt term would be that it is a "catfish".

Nothing this hotel was appalling. Dirty. Rude staff. Unsafe. More like a hostel than a boutique hotel. 2 star at most.
Dirty rooms. Rude unprofessional staff. Broken air con. Broken shower. Sink taps that came off in my hand. Hotel is situated on a 40mph busy road so very noisy all day and night. Pool is more like a pond not suitable for swimming. Hotel is nothing like the pictures. The hotel looks very poor and rundown. No communication or care from staff. We left after one night and no refund given.

The refurbished part of the hotel is beautifully decorated and modern. The hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful when giving recommendations for the day, for directions, etc. Aliki (Alice) in particular was soo sweet and she made this trip extra special! The breakfast was decent and we had a cocktail from the bar which was delicious. Was only a short trip and suited the purpose of our stay. Good location as not too far from the airport or down south i.e. Kavos, if staying on the west side of the island.
We initially booked a standard double room, but it isn’t apparent on booking.com that the hotel is split into three separate buildings and that the ‘cost-friendly’ rooms are in the two separate blocks from the main building which is where the bar/restaurant, reception desk and the pool area are. The standard rooms weren’t terrible, but could do with a bit of love. I would definitely recommend booking a suite if you’re looking for more luxury and more space.

They have a nice area with a pool
If you get a normal room through booking, they give you a room that is dirty, old and located in another building (2 mins walk from the main location that was shown in their page and it definitely does not look like the pics. If you have big luggages, this is going to be a horrible experience because you have to lift it yourself through the stairs. The mattress was super old as well as dirty. We told them to change it but nobody came. The reception doesn’t pick up the phone calls(our own phone) and if there is a problem you have to do all this walk up and down. The cleaning staff comes just to make the bed but doesnt change the towels. We stayed 4 days (3 nights) and we had to use the old ones all the time. Tried calling but nobody picks up. So yeah… be aware and try checking the room before you pay/check in.

The only two good things about this hotel were the staff because they were very friendly and the bed which was comfortable.
Bathroom smelled damp and musty. We couldn’t sleep because of the smell. Overall it wasn’t very clean, dust everywhere and spiderwebs. A.C. from the top room was dripping on our balcony. Too expensive for what was offered.

Breakfast was basic but ok - location close to beach, but nothing much else there
Room location - ground floor overlooking scrub land/ outdoor area was dirty/ broken slab and constant dripping water from room above which meant the outdoor space was unusable. Concrete floor was dirty inside the room - and had holes in by the side of the bed. The room was not cleaned during the 5 day stay, and the towels were not changed until day 4 of a 5 day stay, The fridge was switched off and when opening the freezer compartment, the ice cube tray had mould spores in it. There was a damp smell , the source of which was the room opposite which stank of wet , damp wood. Remote control had no batteries and we had to ask at reception. No cupboards to put anything away, only a hanging rail. The bed was a mattress on top of a concrete base, not comfortable. Only one sunbed on the patio - unmade step, which was unsightly - this was repaired during our stay, but while we were in the room with no warning given.

No room service, in five days nobody came to clean the room. The rooms that are not in the main building do not look like the pictures. Breakfast - very mediocre. No staff available at most times. Saw a cockroach in the room.

Gentlemen at reception whos second day it was, went above and beyond and was very helpful and always greeted us with a smile and asked if any issues

Baby cot was missing mattress making it uncomfortable sleep

nothing its a scam, stay away
we came, the hotel was half open, pool area not open, putting the sunbeds together, hammering, came to the room - smaller than advertised. oh and we were asked to pay in the first 5 seconds only with a card. we were confused it this is what we booked. and no way you can rest with the hammering and the pool getting filled. we said we dont want to stay there and the receptionst told us that she doesn’t know how to do the refund and that the manager is not there. she gave us the managers email and said he will refund us, we just have to send an email. of course we believed. after the email was sent there was no answer (promised the same day) we called 5 times - everytime they said we will receive a call in the next 30 minutes. what we received the next day was an email that they will not refund us and that we could go to the beach until everything is done. we were and the beach and needed some down time - which is hard with all of the commotion around the hotel. very bad. promising refunds is scamming people. and prepare the hotel - we couldnt even enter due to the restriction tape. super weird and super innapropriate. if you come to this hotel please check everything in advance so you dont get scammed.

The minimalist design, beautiful pool, location close to the bus station and near to the beach (approximately 700 m).
The breakfast was very poor, especially in the first days of our stay. At least they brought a coffee machine in our third day, jams, and some vegetables.
Unpleasant smell in the room that came from the wooden accessories. It was quite difficult to stay with closed window.
The bathroom is small and not practical. Very noisy bathroom fan.

The hotel is located in the charming village called Moraitika. It's only 30 min from Corfu town (we caugth bus number A15 from the airport to the green bus station /it's cost only 1.10 euro if you buy it from the ticket desk or 1.70 euro from the bus/ just one stop /approximately 10 min/, then we caugth bus num B7 /Corfu-Messonghi/ -2.20 euro. The bus stop in front of the hotel is called Crossroad Messonghi.
The hotel is only 10 min to Moraitika beach and 15 min to Messonghi beach - the beaches are nice and the sunbeds are 3.50 euro or free in front of some bars.
About the hotel: we really like the interior, the pool area /the sunbeds and umbrellas are brand new and modern/, the hotel smells well, it's clean and they changed the towels often. We didn't try the breakfast, we ate out of the hotel.
In front to the hotel is Messonghi travel agency - they offer many travel options.
Our room was number 13 on the second floor - the view was disappointing /no view/.
The bathroom is really really small - you need to go to the shower to open/close the door..

Olive Grove was the best choice we could have made that ensured such a lovely first time visit to Corfu! The facilities were perfect - excellent location, clean, adorable decor and design and above all the most amazing staff that truly made our visit the best! We are already planning when we can return, and its thanks to our new friends, hotel staff Theo and Danae, who made it truly exceptional stay. They are helpful, kind and willing to help with whatever we needed, and more than that, went above and beyond to share their favorite places and what they love about Corfu. Honestly, they gave us the best recommendations, better than any tour guide :) Thank you to the Olive Grove team for such an amazing time, we can't wait to return!

Very uniqe place with its own style and good vibe. Personel was very nice and seemed very dedicated to hospitality. Breakfast, as they nicely tell you, is made from only greek goods, not like in others commercial places. It's delicious and very different.
Bathroom is very tiny, could be planned bether. Hotel is placed near main street, quite far from the centre of the town, where you might want to walk around at the evening, having some drinks or food. You need to take a quite long walk.

Very clean and beautiful rooms. Unfortunately in our room we haven.t any wardrobe, just a fancy wood bar for hangers.
The personal was very friendly, helpfull and cheerfull.
Unfortunately the breakfast was a dissapointment. You only have eggs, sandwiches made with one piece of ham and cheese, only one type of pastry, yogurt and cream cheese. Every day the same thing.
However the coffee was good.

Beyond the fact that the hotel is pleasant, beautiful and comfortable, what we enjoyed the most was the charming hotel staff! They are kind, nice and caring. They gave us many recommendations for places on the island. We felt that they really cared about us and it was important to them that we leave this vacation the happiest.
