A gift of free parking was much appreciated as was the use of washer and dryer.
Landlady coming in two nights in a row. Broken dishwasher which we could never fix even though land lady said to do so was easy. The bed is far too soft.

Liked being close to a grocery store and being able to make our own meals. Price was reasonable - at least by Norwegian standards. Bed was comfortable and there were a variety of different pillows so you could find the one that worked for you. You are about a 15 to 25 minute walk from most key attractions so on the outer limits of the immediate downtown. This also means it was quiet.
The building itself is very old with an ancient elevator and chips out of the granite stone staircase. Didn’t like the design of the shower as there was no lip on the floor or a proper drain pad. This meant water spilled out onto the bathroom floor with every shower. There is a reason there is a mop in the corner. Also, while there was a hairdryer there was no plug in the bathroom. Where there were plugs there wasn’t a mirror. Not the end of the world. You need to balance the good with a few irritants.
