Situated in South Haven, this lovely house for $1,250 per night is a great option for your next break. If you are craving fresh lake breezes and sun-warmed days by the shore, The Hideout is your new favorite place. This 5-bed, 3.5-bath vacation rental features a private, landscaped backyard unlike any other in North Beach. Sink into the bubbling hot tub. Gather for a sunset seafood feast at the outdoor dining table. Toast marshmallows for dessert around the custom fire pit. Sip your morning coffee on a screened porch… and, of course, head to North Beach with just a short stroll through the gate! Living Spaces The Hideout's professionally decorated, cottage-chic interiors are instantly welcoming and a delight to the senses. The open-concept main living area features a comfy sofa in front of a flat-screen TV, and armchairs that are perfect for settling in with a good book. A gas fireplace adds cozy vibes on a chilly evening by the lake. Steal a quiet moment in the second living area on the third floor, featuring a plush sectional sofa and another flat-screen TV. This spot also enjoys an elevated vantage point of the lake and North Beach, and a balcony for getting even closer to the view. Need to catch up on emails? There's a built-in workspace up here, too, with an ergonomic desk chair. Peak & Non-Peak Season During the peak season, this home would have a 7-night minimum and would rent Friday - Friday. If you are interested in staying a full week in the non-peak season, September through April, please send in an inquiry with your travel dates and we are happy to supply weekly pricing for your trip. Cooking & Dining The home's high-end cottage feel continues in the sunny kitchen, with its roomy center island, clean white cabinets and appliances (including a gas range and dishwasher), and warm wood floors. The center island seats up to 4—a great spot for planning the day's activities over coffee or chatting with the chef as they whip up dinner. An adjacent breakfast nook seats 6 more. Or head through the glass doors out to the gorgeous backyard, where an al fresco dining table seats 10 beside the hot tub, gas grill, and firepit. After dinner, throw your dishes in the dishwasher and stroll to the beach for a famous Lake Michigan sunset! When you get back from the show, rinse the sand from your feet with the outdoor shower, then gather around the firepit as the stars emerge overhead. The perfect end to a perfect day at The Hideout! Bed & Bath The Hideout has 5 bedrooms, spread out across 2 levels for optimal privacy. On the Mid Level, 3 bedrooms include two Queen bedrooms and one King-size primary suite. The Queen bedrooms share access to a balcony and a hallway bath with a tub/shower combo. The King-size bedroom suite is for your group's VIPs—it has its own private, lake-view balcony and attached bath featuring a tiled walk-in shower. On the Top Level beside the second living area) you'll find two more bedrooms. A bunk room sleeps up to 4 in twin-over-twin bunk beds, and another nautical-chic bedroom suite features a Queen bed and an attached bath with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. Outdoor Spaces This is where a lot of the fun happens! Guests will be sure to enjoy one of the 4 exterior balconies/patios, including one of which is a screened-in porch on the main level. In the evening, enjoy soaking in the hot tub under the stairs or sitting around the glow of a fire at the adjacent fire pit.

3rd floor balcony had extraordinary views. Very relaxing and quiet to sit and enjoy lake and beach views. Close walk to beach and riverfront. Had issues with the AC Unit over running but 24 hour attendant was very helpful. House is updated and clean. Will return again to this property.

Came for a weekend with our siblings. The house is in a decent location on north beach. Gorgeous views from the top third floor balcony and nice balcony furniture.
The hot tub is a little dated, probably needs an upgrade to that.
The fire pit area, though we couldn’t use because of high winds, was really cool and looked like it would be great. As did the corn hole area which again we couldn’t use and the outdoor shower. We bet barring the high winds the outdoor space would be great for friends gatherings.
The third floor really works if you have kids because the stairway is closed off for noise. Lots of bathrooms.
Only criticism if I have to leave any would be the lack of street parking(though there is public parking a short distance away at the beach I can see that being a problem in summer months), the hot tub wasn’t the best, and all the vents were dusty and the downstairs furniture is not comfortable at all. Again, these are nit picky as ultimately we had a great weekend with our siblings. We would book again especially for a fall trip.

I stayed for 2 nights with a group of friends from grad school. We were on and off the beach all day (it’s literally across the street!), enjoyed grilling and roasting s’mores in the backyard, and hanging out with music over the speaker system at night. And the sunset views were stunning! I’d love to be back again

We very much enjoyed the trip! The house had everything you could ever need, plus more. Location was perfect- short walk to the beach. The outdoor areas were very enjoyable- hot tub, fire pit, multiple balconies, screen porch and outdoor eating. Beds were clean with an abundance of extra pillows, sheets and blankets. Kid toys and books in the bunk room were a total hit! Kitchen was very well stocked with all the gadgets! Will book again for next year!

A very nice home
This is an excellent home with a great location. Two minute walk to the beach views of the water from the top two levels. Home is outfitted with plenty of cooking utensils, Dishes etc. Management company was very responsive to the several requests that we had.

This house was perfect for our family getaway! We had a great time. There was plenty of room for the eight of us (all adults). The location is great! The beach is practically in the backyard and only a 20 minute walk to the downtown. I highly recommend!

Great stay at the Hideout
Loved our stay here. The house was super clean and charming. Very close to the beach and also a nice walk to town. The layout worked out for us perfectly. Our 16 year old daughter and 2 friends were able to hang out on the third floor with it's family room/bedroom/bath while the adults enjoyed the main part of the house. Would definately return.

Great location and place. Very clean. straightforward rules and expectations. Most communication is done online But we did ask them if we could come early and they got back with us the day of. Only complaint that we had, (and maybe due to sought-after location/place) but for the price, It was less than a 2 day rental.

Beautiful home and fun for kids
We really enjoyed our stay for the weekend! It was in October so it was a bit chilly, but still a lot of fun! The view from the house is amazing. It was also extremely clean which we appreciated a lot!

Beautiful location and home, attentive management
We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful and well appointed home.It is tastefullydecorated making for a warm and serene environment.All rooms are equally nice with wonderful bedding and numerous bath towels. The set up of the home made vacation living easy for our two families(one with two toddlers and the other with two teens.)3rd floor was great with king master with bath and then bunk room and central family room. 2nd floor has three bedrooms and two full baths and laundry room.All so spacious and well decorated.Barely can hear each other. Enjoyed the privacy of all three decks. Sunsets enjoyed on two.Back yard is a very short walk to the beach which made it easy to run back and forth throughout the day. The back yard itself has a beautiful patio table with seating for at least eight as well as a propane barbecue, fire pit and clean hot tub.The outdoor space was just an extension of the living space of the pretty screened-in porch next to the kitchen.The kitchen held numerous pots, utensils, plates, cups and silverware which made eating and cooking a breeze. Location of the house is truly ideal. It is perfect for walking/running to the pier as well as into town and the beach. The marina is close by and so is the dock for the boat rides. Parking in the driveway for two cars was a terrific bonus. You can obtain a parking permit for lots nearby if you have more car.Owners provided 6 chairs as well as corn hole set (we had brought our own).Thankfully we brought a wagon, umbrella and beach shells which made hauling all beach stuff easier and shade possible. Management was very responsive, friendly and effective. They sent many informative emails and answered questions before the trip. They even called on the day of check-in to alert us to the fact that there were Wi-Fi issues. They made every effort to resolve the problem before we arrived and when they couldn’t fix things themselves, then the owner and management worked together to have a Spectrum team there by 8 the next morning. A management representative attended so that we didn’t have to alter our plans and the issue was fixed by mid-day. This is a wonderful location for a family beach trip. We would have explored the city more and eaten out more often if we had not had toddlers with us. The city has more shopping, dining and drinking options than expected. It is such a walkable town but bikes, kayaks, paddle boards can be easily rented.This was a remarkable experience.Water is gorgeous!

Perfect beach house for the whole family!
The house was perfectly located near the beach, beautiful, clean and had an abundance of amenities. We had a wide age range of family staying at the house from great grandparents to toddlers, and it was the perfect fit for all of us. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer from beautiful sunsets to roasting s'mores at the fire pit to spending time together on the back porch to reading all the kids books at the house. We loved our time at The Hideout!

We had a group of girls getaway and this house was the perfect setting! The home itself is adorable and clean, the layout is great for just relaxing either inside or outside. The location to the beach and into town is perfect! We would absolutely rent again!

I loved loved loved this property! The location was great! We came at a perfect time there wasn’t anyone else in the neighborhood. The beach is literally steps away. No issues with any of the amentities. Only downfall is the bunk bedroom. It’s literally only for small children and I had all adults with me the ceiling is at a slant so it’s hard for adult size ppl to sleep in it but that was okay! We genuinely enjoyed our stay!

We booked last minute for a trip from Chicago to get out of the city and all its nonsense. The property did not disappoint. It was a very cold and snowy weekend and watching the changes in Lake Michigan and the beach was mesmerizing. Loved the hot tub and fireplace. Great weekend getaway.

Great place for families
Even though we were here in the fall, we still loved the location and close proximity to the beach. We walked to the playground and swings and we’re only a minute walk back to the house. The sunroom and hot tub were very nice to enjoy the outdoors. The upstairs living area was wonderful for the kids to play. Overall this house worked great for 3 different families.

Amazing Place - Would Go Back!
We had the best fall weekend in South Haven. Even though the weather was rainy, we enjoyed the short walk to the lake, walk to the town , exploring the cider and breweries, golfing and relaxing at the house! Great weekend for family and friends for a birthday. Would definitely go back !
