Situated in Colorado, this attractive house for $726 per night is a great choice for your next trip. BYERS PEAK LODGE Byers Peak Lodge sits atop a rocky, wooded ridge on 43 acres, adjoining 1300 acres of open space, just 4 miles east of Granby, Colorado. This magnificent, 5 bedroom, 7 bath, 5000 square foot, custom log home is a masterpiece of Colorado mountain architecture. Completed in 2002, the Lodge provides numerous amenities. Custom rock fireplaces grace the great room on the main level and the entertainment room on the lower walkout level. The fireplace in the great room features two 6000-pound, lichen-encrusted boulders taken from a cliff on the property. One of these massive boulders is a natural replica of Byers Peak, the 12800 ft. , snow-capped peak oriented directly in the center of the Lodge’s panoramic great room windows. The Lodge’s unobstructed views are unparalleled in Grand County. The dining area is designed for gatherings of friends and family, with a wide, family-style table and adjoining bar and stools. The kitchen features a refrigerator, two conventional ovens, a microwave, a vented cooking range, two dishwashers, and two disposals. For outdoor cooking with a view, the Lodge offers a deluxe, stainless steel, gas grill, located on the main-level deck, which wraps around 3 sides of the home. Or, for those not inclined to cook, restaurants in every price range are abundant in Granby, Winter Park, and Grand Lake. Each of the five bedrooms features handcrafted, natural aspen log beds. Adjoining bathrooms offer jacuzzi tubs; separate, seated showers with handrails; sink and toilet. Also in each suite or adjoining hall we have washers and dryers (4 sets total) for your after ski laundry necessities. The entertainment room, quietly isolated on the bottom walkout level, provides the latest in home theater technology. A ceiling-mounted projector and movie screen provide the ultimate movie-watching experience. Guests can choose from a variety of videocassettes and DVDs, while relaxing on reclining leather sofas, loveseats, and beanbags. We also have Dish satellite. We are a non-smoking, no animal home, due to the allergies of family members and many of our guests. We regret that we are no longer able to host events at Byers Peak Lodge that include day guests who are not actually staying at the lodge. Our family had a wonderful time in the Byer’s Peak Lodge. Absolutely beautiful home with plenty of space both inside and out for everyone to enjoy. Comfortable accommodations in each of the rooms; the beds were cozy and the jetted tubs were so relaxing after a long day on the slopes. The individual washers and dryers made keeping things organized easy. The kitchen and dining room were spacious and offered us the opportunity to all sit and enjoy meals together as a group. Our family loved the game room and all the space to wander outside and explore; we had a great time sledding right in front of the lodge. The fireplace is impressive and the decorated Christmas tree gave our stay that special Colorado magic.
So many memories made! Truly a special home.

We had a great stay at Byers Peak Lodge for a weekend running retreat. We're a group of 12 men, and the home offered plenty of space, plenty of beds, plenty of views, and plenty of bathrooms.
The home is gorgeous, with a sprawling deck overlooking a valley and stunning stone fireplace to complement the logs throughout. The kitchen has everything you need.
We'd love to go back.

Byers Peak Lodge is simply breathtaking!! Our daughter was married in Granby and this lodge was perfect for our family as it was located above the venue.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this well equipped and beautifully decorated home during our trip.
The attention to detail given to us left no questions and Nila was extremely easy to work with.
I would highly recommend this lodge to any group traveling to the Granby area!!

loved the location. Just a couple of issues. Mice in the house were pretty active. The one dishwasher did not work although we were able to use the one that did work. Hot water tap in the main floor bedroom leaks. Beautiful views and great privacy.

Our son got married out here in Grand Lake and this cabin was perfect for the size of our group. The rooms had tons of space to fit everyone. Was only minutes away from everything. It was great to have so many washing machines/dryers and multiple appliances. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing at Byers Peak Lodge. The house and the views were immaculate! We really enjoyed being able cook with our entire family and have the ability to sit down as one big group to eat.
The kids loved playing air hockey and ping pong in the garage there was plenty of room for each guest to be comfortable in their own space. The cabin allowed for our big group to disconnect and enjoy each others company. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful cabin.

We had a small intimate wedding here and it was perfect. So much room for everyone to have their own space, and absolutely everything we could hope for in the house to cook, play games, and of course enjoy the incredible views and area of the lodge. Host was communicative and very helpful to our questions as we managed some planning. And logistics. Best VRBO I’ve stayed at so far.

This house is very well equipped. The five bedrooms are all en suite, and there are two other sleeping areas (theatre room and loft area). The kitchen has lots of staples, including two dishwashers. There are two pack-n-plays, one high chair, four (!) washers and dryers. Really everything one could desire.
But, there were also mice. This is probably inevitable given the country/mountain location, and for most of us it was fine. But beware if any of your party are squeamish. Nothing gross, we just saw them run under furniture at times.

We were fortunate enough to have just the right number of people in our extended family for this cabin. We had 20, and they all were able to sleep comfortably. The property is beautiful, as is the setting. We were able to have a day at Winter Park and another at Grand Lake, with both being just a short drive. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Our expectations were more than met by this beautiful home. We had eleven children with us and they had a blast visiting with their cousins in this spacious home. The adults were all extremely impressed by the layout and decor. I cannot adequately express how amazing this house and property is and if anyone is wanting a great Rocky Mountain vacation, this is the place to stay.

This lovely home was a welcome retreat for my kids and grandkids. We came together from three different states and enjoyed the views and spacious living area. We didn't venture far from the home, except on foot and bikes. We felt like the home had more to offer than the listing advertised. The breakfast nook was perfect for all my Littles. They had fun piling in there! the private balconies in the upstairs bedrooms were nice, too.

What a phenomenal view of the snow capped mountains with beautiful wildflowers blooming in the valley below. Stayed for three nights in this well stocked, clean comfortable cabin sharing the clean crisp air and wilderness with diverse wildlife. Highly recommend!

The house was very accommodating for an extended family of 18. Beautiful log construction with large kitchen and ample grilling room even with daily snow storms. The fireplace did a fair job of heating the great room with plenty of firewood available. The new stove top worked fine for the stainless steel pots that were available.

What an inspiring stay! The vastness of the property and variety of sleeping and living areas made it perfect for our group of family, couples, and singles to all have their space and space to come together. AWD is necessary to ensure safe arrival in the winter months! I know our family will be booking this home for another get away!

If you want spectacular views of the mountains and valley, this is your spot! Byers Peak sits high on the mountain top with breathtaking views. We rented the home to spend Christmas in the mountain with our family. The home itself is massive and accommodated all 13 of us quite comfortably and was decorated for Christmas beautifully . Our first disappointment was having to shovel snow away from the front door just to get into the home. We came to vacation, not to work. The home should have been prepared that morning for our arrival but obviously with the amount of snow on the porch and deck, it had not been touched in quite a while. There were issues in the interior due to no one preparing the home for us prior to arrival but those were addressed with the owner. If you come in the winter, we highly recommend a four wheel drive vehicle. If you’re waiting for the drive way to be snow plowed, you’ll be waiting forever. Please note it is a solar powered home so do your homework. We knew nothing about radiant heat flooring but quickly learned. When contacting the owners for a few other issues, they were very courteous and helpful. All in all we would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return one day.

We had a small wedding here and couldn't have had a better time! Nila was so helpful and communicative- she answered so many questions with grace and helped make it an incredible weekend. The lodge is beautiful and was more than enough space for our friends to stay with us (family stayed at places nearby). The rooms are spacious and we were able to have folks in beds and air mattresses. We had a small ceremony outside and everyone was in awe of the views. It's easily accessible to Lake Granby; we really enjoyed an afternoon on pontoons. The kitchen is well-stocked, and we were amazed by the number of lawn games and items available to use. Our group loved playing a quick game of volleyball as well! We couldn't have asked for a better stay in a better location. We would love to stay again in the future. Highly recommend!

Couldn't have found a better house, location, and views! The house setup is ideal for a large group with every bedroom having its own bathroom and thermostat. The home has everything you could want/need amenity and comfort wise. We all enjoyed our stay very much and would come back for sure!

We had an intimate wedding with family and friends and used this house along with Rocky Ridge Lodge (just up the driveway). This was a perfect house to accommodate half of our guests. We all had plenty of space to spread out and relax. What a great place to enjoy the crisp fall mornings an beautiful sunsets. Nila was easy to work with and communicated well. I would definitely recommend this property for a larger, relaxed family getaway!

Byers Peak Lodge is a stunning mountain lodge inside and out - a real find! The views are amazing and visible from the many large windows and the porches. The lodge itself is a jewel - huge logs anchor the rustic design throughout, beautiful stone fireplace, great furnishings. (As good as the pictures in the listing!) The layout is wonderful for large groups - big open kitchen, dining room table that can seat a crowd, 2 dishwashers, large common areas, several bedrooms. And more than enough bathrooms! Large covered entry porch is convenient. Ping pong in the lower level was a bit hit.
A few minor things need attention, like the outdoor grill. But nothing that should make you hesitate to spend time here! We’ll be back!

This house was perfect for a group of 16 guys in the mountains for a golf weekend. There was enough room to set up a few air mattresses in the basement theater room. The house is secluded, but still close enough to Granby, and the host is extremely detailed oriented. The best part was the near 360 degree views.

We absolutely loved staying at this house. It was just beautiful, and we felt so blessed that the owners trusted us with their beautiful home. We will definately be back. The view is simply breathtaking! One dissapointment was that the tipi was no longer there. We were not aware of that change, and the grandkids sure did miss that. This was our second time staying there, and we will be back in the future, God willing! :)
