About this apartment rental
Cosy 1 bedroom apartment in a historic canal house in a quiet and very popular residential area on the Amsterdam city island 'Prinseneiland', The island is like an old fashioned village within the center of Amsterdam, and is inhabited by a nice mixture of artists, expats and traditional Amsterdam people, close to the canals and main city’s attractions.
The apartment has a very nice feel with an 'authentic' style, an open, fully equipped kitchen in the living-room, a private bathroom with shower, wireless internet, a TV with international channels and of course a coffee maker.
Everything in this apartment is in great condition!
The neighbourhood is ideal located at about a 10 minutes walking distance from the busy city center with lots of restaurants and shops, The Ann Frank House, the Central Railway Station, the Red Light District, Dam Square and Westerpark and 3 nice markets on Mondays (arts and crafts-), Wednesdays (organic-) and Saturdays (farmers-).
In short, the perfect place to stay when in Amsterdam!
Bookings are only for 2 guests max, a baby is counted as 1 person according to the local rules!
Use of the sofa as an sepparate bed costs 10 euro once for the extra bedlinen.

We had a lovely few nights at Emmy's place in Amsterdam. The location is quiet and peaceful with easy access to the rest of the city. Emmy is an excellent host and communicated well. The skylight above the bed is so unique and charming! It can be closed of course if needed.

Our 4 night stay in Amsterdam was great! Emmy met promptly and us gave us the low down on arrival, maps, flat info and a warm welcome.The flat is in the ground level!! Which is a blessing in Amsterdam, fully equipped kitchen with some condiments, dish soap, linen, washers and coffee! All added benefits! Full size bed, comfortable and “very” cozy, LR you can spread out. Large grocery store 6 min walk and about 16 min walk to the Center area!Walking is king here, or a bike if you are daring!Enjoy

I was looking for a spot within walking to central Amsterdam and the Jordaan area. I also wanted to be close to public transportation. She advertised both and was spot on. A short 2 block walk to a tram/bus spot connected me to all of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. My 40 day stay was exceptionally easy to navigate from that location. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. She responded to 2 minor issues quickly. The only problem I had is I wanted to stay longer.
