It was great to stay in an old tower. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The instructions from the host were excellent and easy to follow. It was excellent value and in a great location.

It would have been nice to have had a TV in the room.

Ideal location. Room compact but good value for money. Aircon appreciated.

Some confusion initially but quickly resolved by host. Power point plate near stove needs attention but apart from that everything worked well.

The location is excellent, very easy to find. Had plenty of hot water and basic requirements were provided (dish soap, tea towel, etc.) It is very close to a great supermarket and many tourist sites. The building itself is charming and had a lift.

My ´studio´ was small but sufficient for one person. Basically a student accommodation. It is in need of some basic maintenance and refit. Basic kitchen supplies are poor - ONE glass, 2 wine glasses, the toaster was not usable because it immediately tripped the fuse. (I believe they are aware of electric issues as they make a point of stressing the location of the fuse box). There is an electrical outlet hanging from the wall in the kitchen over the stove top. The bed pillows are much too thick and made sleeping difficult. I had a remote for Amazon fire in the room but NO television? The agent includes a €55 cleaning fee but check our requirements include cleaning the dishes, frigo, &, emptying all rubbish and taking to dispository next to bridge. This amount seems excessive to me considering what would be a 45 minute amount of work. For me there was an issue with the tourist fee. I paid directly to Booking.com the accommodation amount requested (320.47) & I had no problem with the tourist fee of 18€. The property uses a different platform (Stripe) for the tourist fee payment which I used. This platform (from the accommodation) said I had a balance of 3€ to pay as I had made an overpayment of 15€ I paid the 3€. I was then contacted by their agent Monika saying I had not paid correctly, I explained what had happened and asked for clarification. To date I have NOT received an explanation or clarification, other than that the Channel Master (?) made an error. I have paid the 15€ - it is a small amount but what if it weren't ??? I would stay here again because of the location and price but my recommendation is to be careful with the management company of this property & keep your records in order. They are quick to send automatic messages and emails inquiring about your satisfaction during your stay but there is little substance behind this.
