About this condo rental
Situated in Flathead Lake, this lovely condo for $103 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Overlooking Somers Bay on Flathead Lake. The guest quarters is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by a lovely flower garden. A short walk down a secluded path takes you to the private dock on the lake. The main room consists of the living area, kitchenette and dinette with access to a full bath. Double doors open to a large bedroom . The Laundry Room is a small room off this area. The apartment is heated by a natural gas stove which looks like a small wood stove. The bedroom opens on to the patio / lanai. Paying guests are allowed day use (10:00 am - 5:00 pm) of the dock and beach area for swimming, sun bathing and ingress/egress of boating equipment. Kitchenette: The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, blender, and coffee maker. There are numerous pots and pans and cooking utensils, plus plates and silverware. Bedroom: The bedroom has a king-size bed, desk, love-seat, dresser and closet. There is smart TV with WiFi

Overall the interior of the unit was as shown. The bed was very comfortable but the rest of the furniture was not. This wasn’t a big problem for us as we weren’t there a lot. The big disappointment for me was that the view from the patio is not as pictured, but instead is obstructed by overgrown bushes. You have only a peek-a-boo view. In addition, the statement that lake access is “a short walk down a secluded path” is simply not true. You do walk down a short path, but it’s to a deck where there is a tram that goes up and down. In addition, we really did not feel welcome to go down to the lake after reading the instructions in the manual deferring to the boathouse guests. While it does say you can go down, it makes clear that you are NOT to disturb the guests at the bottom of the tram staying in the boathouse, who are noted to be paying a premium to be there. Therefore, we did not access the lake while there. Since the 2 main reasons we booked this property were the lake view from the patio and the lake access, we felt cheated that neither was as stated. The owner was nice, and while the unit could use a good deep cleaning and perhaps more comfortable furniture, it was adequate otherwise. However, I would not have booked it knowing what I know now.

Great experience across the board. Excellent location, nice and quiet, right by the lake, comfortable, had all we needed. We were gone a lot thru out the day exploring the area, national parks, etc and this was a great place to come back too. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen (no food but dishes, etc) great water pressure, washer and dryer, VERY clean, no weird smells anything, easy parking, just an overall awesome place to land for the week. What little communication we had with the owners was great. They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We’re considering returning already. Thank you to the owners, it’s so nice to have a great place that’s just as advertised and that lets us focus on our vacation and having fun. God bless.

The apartment was very well-stocked with treats and things to drink, like coffee, tea, apple cider and hot cocoa. Very clean. Very soft bed. Plenty of towels. Was a very beautiful property with flowers hanging around the patio. Beautiful lake, beautiful scenery. Short drive to Glacier Park. We will be back. Thank you Karen.

Beautiful setting and wonderful host thinks of thoughtful touches. Surrounding property is gorgeous as is lake and dock area. We all enjoyed it thoroughly! Karen is fantastic!

It was a large, clean, pleasant daylight basement environment with a beautiful yard and patio. Furniture and appliances were dated but totally functional. There was no dishwasher. You cannot beat the location and lakeside amenities offered for free such as a lift down to a beautiful dock with kayaks and life jackets available for use. I found it perfect for one or two people at a great price.

Owners were so friendly and very flexible! I had a few more friends that wanted to stay with me last minute and they adjusted my stay so I could have them come as well!
I ran in the Spartan race that weekend and needed a place where I felt comfortable in and could sleep well. This place was perfect and it was only 15 minutes from the race camp!
Karen even dropped by to check on us to see how we were doing. Oh plus, they left us snacks for when we arrived. Highly recommend this place!!

We enjoyed our weekend at this rental - we were in town for a wedding. We appreciated being able to sit on the dock along the lake front and grill/cook dinner and eat it on the patio table above Feb lake.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Karen & Earl’s unit right next to Flathead Lake. My wife and I took full advantage of the location using it as a jump off point to go horseback riding and fly fishing in the area.
The unit’s pictures have a nice view, but some of the brush was in the way of the view when we arrived. No problem, as they give you access to a deck overlooking the lake which is absolutely stunning.

Amazing vacation stay
We enjoyed our stay here while visiting Glaciers. Everything was as per our expectations. Everything you expect from a home away from your home. Internet was fast enough for us to do browsing and watch movies.

We were there just 2 nights but had a very good experience. Minor issue with the bathroom sink drain that the owner addressed while we were there. Could do something (citronella patio candles?) to minimize the flies indoors and patio mosquitos after twilight, but that's summer near a lake. Lake access is via a short tram which is no problem, and the beach/dock area is shared with one other unit. Lots of positives - location, view, quiet, very comfortable bed, and well-outfitted unit. Would definitely stay again.
