We enjoyed our 2021 Sunriver vacation with our grandchildren but we only could use SHARCS one day out of our five day stay. Very disappointing! The house had a convenient layout, good working appliances. My only criticism of the house was it barely had enough plates, silverware, glasses, and cookware. We actually bought another frying pan to use during our stay!

We had no idea from the listing that we would be coming to a property with no AC on some of the hottest days of the summer. It basically ruined our family trip. Also, the Sharc passes were of no use since the Sharc is still on a reservation basis due to covid and despite being on the website to reserve a spot, it filled up and was sold out within minutes and we couldn't book a spot for our family. Spent the days sweating in the house which was 86 degrees despite running the old fans that were provided. Also, the shower door was broken and wouldn't stay closed. Would have been a decent property with AC.

Check in and out was a breeze. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Cabin was close enough to the park and the kids had a great time. Great cabin and will return in the future.

Although check-in was very simple, I was bummed that early check-in wasn’t available, due to covid and “extra cleaning” that needed to take place (yeah, ok) The house definitely wasn’t deep cleaned.. there was popcorn in the couch and the coffee table had crumbs on it.. We stayed for 2 nights in June. It was 80 degrees out and the house was HOT. There is no AC. Other reviews mentioned there being AC only in the kitchen/living room… nope! There’s even a note on the thermostat that says “No AC”. So if you’re looking to stay here in the summer, beware. The house gets warm, even with the two fans (from the 1990’s) that they provide, especially upstairs. Speaking of upstairs, it’s more of a loft type room. There’s no door, which means no privacy. You can easily hear those downstairs. While this was ok for us, it might not be for those seeking privacy. Also, the stairs are VERY steep. I would definitely recommend bringing a baby gate or two if you have little children. The bedrooms were decent sized and the beds were very comfortable. The bedroom upstairs has an upgraded TV, not shown in the picture and it has cable, which is nice. Of the two bedrooms downstairs, only one has a tv, but no cable, just a DVD player (I didn’t see any movies available, but we didn’t really look) I think a great update would be all bedrooms having a TV with cable. The house limit is 8 people, which yes, it can sleep 8 people, probably more, but I wouldn’t say it would be comfortable with 8. The house would be perfect for 6 or less, in my opinion. The hot tub is nice, it could fit 4 or 5 people. Very chlorinated. The BBQ is an absolute safety hazard and should not be used.. I was successful in grilling hamburgers, but it’s not safe at all. The lid is broken and doesn’t close properly, the handle gets too hot to grab, it’s just all bad. Not to mention the BBQ was disgusting and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The Wi-Fi was good, we streamed multiple devices off of it. The kitchen was nice, the microwave buttons are broken, so that sucked. There’s also not any cleaning spray or wipes, which is odd to me. The location of the house is good. It’s 6 minutes driving distance from the village and within walking distance to the park. Overall, I’d say this house is overpriced for what it is, even with it being updated.

Great home with a cabin feel. Quite, very clean, beds are comfortable. Couldn't beat the hot tub after a couple of days of some pretty strenuous hikes.

This was a great place. My only thought is the kitchen could have been better stocked. Also, the late check in and early check out made for a short time. What should have felt like a two and half day getaway felt more like a day.

Really great! Quiet and close to all the action.
Great house. Clean and with everything you need. Hot tub would never go above 99, but the kids loved it anyway. Very comfortable king bed.

Lovely Few Days in Sunriver
This is the first time that we have been to Sunriver and it was great! Lots to do, even when a few inches of beautiful snow gets dumped on you! We had enough space for our family of four. The kids really enjoyed the bunk bed set up as well. Fireplace worked great, so did the hot tub. Echo the comments about the minimal stuff in the kitchen. We heeded those warnings and brought olive oil, containers for left overs, tin foil and plastic wrap, our own pasta pot (with a steamer), a non-stick fry pan (there are a couple, but it isn't non-stick), and cutting knives (again, there is one, but it wasn't great). Also, the bunk bed needs some tightening as it was a bit woobly. We provided that comment back to Vacasa, so hopefully that got fixed.

Great for kids
2 Cedar is close to fort rock park and perfect for our family. Also just a quick ride to the pool and the village. The house was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again!

Great place for a group!
We had our family of 5 as well as a few high school boys who stayed with us. The upper master suite was a great place for the older boys to call their own. The little kids bedroom had great bunks and lots of space to play. All the beds were comfy and the living and dining area was big enough for all of us to gather.
The location is great. A short jaunt over to Fort Rock Park and a 10/15 minute bike to the village or SHARC.
As read in previous reviews, the kitchen is sparsely stocked with cooking basics (no oils, salt, pepper, etc) and the number of fans was not adequate for the summer months. But since I had read this, we came prepared dnd were very comfortable.

Just OK
Check in was easy and the property location was fine. I kept getting a waft of mildew scent and could not figure out where it was coming from. The second day, I was retrieving a toy from under the couch and laying on the floor and could tell this was where this smell was coming from. The house was clean overall, but the bedding needs updating and we would just rate this home as "just OK."

Great Sunriver Getaway!
Our family of 5 plus a few high school aged boys loved staying at 2 Cedar Ln. The open upstairs was a great place for the older boys to have to themselves and their was still enough space for all of us down stairs to eat, play and relax. It was also an easy bike ride to the SHARC, village and especially Fort Rock Park.
As I had read in previous feedback, the kitchen isn’t well stocked: no oil, salt, pepper, cooking spray,...But we came prepared. I had also read that the fan supply for the summer was not adequate, which I agree (besides the ceiling fan in the living room, only 2 others), so we brought more fans with us. It definitely cooled off nicely at night which made sleeping more comfortable.
This is a great location, great price and a great house. Thanks for sharing!

All the little things add up
The majority of outlets in the bedroom and bathrooms would not hold plugs- they would just fall out.
The coffee pot leaked everyday.
Their were only enough plates for basically setting out one meal so we had to run the dishwasher each day and it wasn't even really full.
Hot tub was cold when we got there and we had to wait until day 2 for it to heat up.
Ice machine/water dispenser didn't work. Would have been nice to have a bag of ice and bottled water offered to us in place.
TV in master is from the 80's and in a terrible location so you were unable to view the TV from bed.
There was a TV and DVD player in the kids room but no DVD's.
We were asked to only use plastic near the hot tub but yet no plastic cups were provided.
Internet went out on morning of day one. When I called about it the management company line was busy. I emailed about it using my own data and got no word back. Finally in late afternoon it was back on.

Nice place but...
Liked the place. Two biggest issues for me were that the upstairs bedroom was very hot and the blinds in the bedrooms did not block out any light so we woke up as soon as the sun came out.

Quiet, clean but could use fans and blinds
House was nice. Had everything you'd need. The upstairs bedroom is open and not as private as I would have hoped. It was also really hot. The blinds in the bedrooms let in a ton of light so you wake up when the sun comes up. This was a major bummer. The beds and pillows we're comfy. Kitchen was nice and had everything I needed. Wish there was recycling.

Great house, in need of some basics
The house was great but it really needed a few basics to make it an easy stay. We had to buy salt and pepper and cooking spray. We had to buy a lighter to light fires as well. We were unable to wash any towels or linens because there was no detergent left for us.
The house itself was great and fit our family. Just having those few provisions available would go a long way!

Great place
The house was very clean and well equipped. It was also conveniently located and had a great hot tub!
