Situated in Stroud Township, this attractive cottage for $163 per night is a great choice for your next break. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this charming lake front cottage. This lake front home has been completely remodeled with modern amenities with ultimate comfort in mind. Small and cozy with vaulted pine ceilings it feels like a large lake front home. Beautifully furnished and decorated this cottage is the perfect getaway. The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances to cook a gourmet meal. Bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet, dresser, and french doors that lead out to the deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy morning coffee, evening cocktails, read a book, do some yoga or just sit and watch the local wildlife, or enjoy the quiet on the deck. The bathroom has a large shower with a jetted body spray massage shower tower head, all new tile surround give it a spa like feel. A gas fireplace in the living room keeps it warm and cozy. With the change of seasons during the Spring and Summer the reflection of the surrounding trees on the lake is one of the most beautiful things you will see. You will certainly want to take picture to show your friends and make them jealous. Enjoy the night air around the fire pit overlooking the lake with a cozy blanket and admire the night sky and the millions of stars. There are 2 kayaks to take onto the lake to get a closer look at the turtles and fish in the water. A Bald Eagle has a nest close by visiting often to catch its dinner and sit in high above in the surrounding trees. Perfect getaway any season- in Winter it's located close to Camelback Mountain, or Shawnee Mountain for some skiing , snowboarding or snow tubing, Spring and Summer visit one of the many hiking trails, waterfalls or bike trails the Poconos has to offer, in the Fall, the color of the leaves reflecting off the lake put you in awe of the amazing Mother Nature. Close to shopping at the Crossings Factory Outlets that feature over 100 designer and name brand outlets. If antiquing is your thing there are many unique shops close by that you can visit, also close to the largest candle and gift shop in the Poconos. For night life see if you get lucky at Mt. Airy Casino, if you don't want to gamble the local restaurants and bars showcase some of the best local musicians. If its a romantic getaway you are planing appointments at a local spa, Bliss Beauty & Body Co. can be made prior to your visit. For an extra fee refrigerator can be stocked with what you ask- food, drinks, alcohol, etc. upon arrival. When you book let us know whats on your list. Cozy cottage, perfect for two people. Quiet location, lovely views of the lake. Communication with the owner was good, we had a few hiccups, and she was very tentative, and did her best to resolve as quickly as possible possible.

This cottage is very quaint and charming. The location on the lake is wonderful. We were there for our 40th wedding anniversary where we stayed in the Analomink area. The leaves were at their peak and the area is beautiful. The area around the cottage is very quiet. The inside of the cottage is very nice. Everything was very clean and smelled nice and fresh when we walked in. We would defininetly stay here again.

Cane here for my birthday mom getaway. Boyfriend and I had an amazing time. Lake is beautiful, did not go out on water but definitely wanted to. Very comfortable. Shower was fun trying to turn on haaha but very relaxing.We made a big nice meal. Bbq on the grill some nice steaks. Had some s'mores at the fire pit. Went to bushkill falls while in the area and that is just amazing too. We will definitely be staying again.

Our stay was welcome but the room was very hot at night the air conditioner was not working properly and the bed was uncomfortable but other then that it was peaceful and quite and the long drives was an adventure for us going to place to place .

Buffy worked with us and was very easy to communicate with. The cottage is lovely and very cutely decorated. There were many little extras for our use which made the stay even better. The lake and walkway to the lake were disappointing but Buffy was open and honest about the lake and its conditions. The neighbor is very close but we never saw them. I would go again in cold weather.

it was a beautiful property. first night there was a storm that kicked out the power for a long time but that’s nature, there was no ac in the window as said in the listing but besides being warm it was beautiful

The place was wonderful. I definitely recommend. Easy to find, though have your maps downloaded because service is spotty prior to arriving at the address. The space was very clean and relaxing with the best check out ever (just throw the trash in the can outside!) The host provides access to extra TP and garbage bags which is something I’m never lucky enough to find. Close to downtown Stroudsburg which has many wonderful places to eat and enjoy. Coffee on the deck overlooking the pond was exactly what we needed.
A few helpful hints for future guests:
Upon arrival, when you enter the code, make sure you’re pulling on the door or it won’t unlock. Same when locking.
Cooking at the cabin is absolutely doable, and there are some items available for you (oil, spices). The pots and pans aren’t huge but definitely worked for 2 people, and the knives were sharper than any other rental I’ve stayed in. We didn’t find measuring spoons or pot holders but we adapted and made due.
There’s no dishwasher, but soap and sponge/scrubber provided.
The shower is great, though our opinion was the best setting was the rain shower from above.
The bed is very soft, so if you prefer firm you prob won’t sleep well.
You’re in the woods, and by a pond. Expect bugs, and don’t underestimate tick checks even when coming back in from the deck.
Overall this is a great little place for a couple!

This is our favorite getaway spot. Never disappoints. We had a beautiful New Year's Eve by the fire. Can't say enough good things about the cabin. We will be back in the spring!

The owner was wonderful. We arrived Christmas night approximately 5:30pm. We were in much need of R&R, this cottage, as soon as we entered we knew we found our spot. We had dinner at the Skytop Lodge which was delicious and woke up to a fabulous sun rising above the frozen lake.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this clean, and beautifully decorated home! As soon as I walked in the door, it felt warm and welcoming. Buffy provided many extras, in addition to basic needs, such as coffee, soap, and candy (sorry, I ate most all of the vanilla wafers;) The fishing was amazing! I took the jon boat out twice every day, caught many fish, and saw lots of wildlife (even a wolf). The hammock at the waterfront provided for relaxation and amazing views! Apparently most folks who rent this condo do not use the cooking utensils during their stay. We stay in and make our meals using what is provided. That was somewhat of a challenge but we did fine. Otherwise everything was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

The area was enjoyable, particularly the Broadhead Creek Heritage Center and several very good local restaurants. The back deck is the saving grace of the property - we saw lots of wildlife sitting there. The house is dark and in need of attention. The floor has some significant sagging issues in the kitchen and bathroom that need to be shored up - you lean a fair amount when sitting on the toilet. The springs on the couch are shot - makes it uncomfortable. The TV service has no major channels. The "lake" is more like a stagnant pond - water was too low to use kayaks - a major reason we chose this place.

We enjoyed driving around from place to place, but also enjoyed relaxing on the back deck and hanging in the house playing games. Only disappointment was the condition of the lake. Due to low water levels, we could not kayak or fish. Overall, a great experience. We would stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed our relaxing stay at this quaint cottage. We had the opportunity to view lots of wildlife in the backyard and on the lake, and enjoyed some fishing.

Great weekend !
My wife and I took advantage of grammy being in town to spend a very rare weekend alone. The cabin was perfect and we had a great time. Spent time fishing in the pond and caught a few nice bass even though the water was low. It was everything we wanted and look forward to another weekend soon. Only real 'complaint' is we found the bed to be a little too soft, but that is just a personal preference. Thanks Buffy!
