Situated in Michigan City, this attractive house for $229 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Mythology and the perfect beach holiday meet in this charming 2-story guest house that feels as though it were straight out of a fairy tale. The Troll's Den sleeps 6 people with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, full kitchen, and laundry facilities. This house is perfect for families or small gatherings, with queen beds in two bedrooms and bunk beds in the other. The Trolls welcome your visit and, if you're quick, you may catch a glimpse of one inside the Troll Hole. Loaded with games, toys, books, music, four TVs with and high-speed wifi this house is perfectly located across the street from the waterfall pond and a half-block walk from the pool, Lake Kai, and the new playground. A leisurely 5-minute walk to Lake Michigan on the pristine Indiana Dunes (national lakeshore) which is a top-rated beach where you can see the Chicago skyline on a clear day. The Troll's Den is located in the Beachwalk, an award-winning resort community in Michigan City, Indiana, where there is activities aplenty right outside your doorstep. Resort amenities include: *pool *tennis courts *basketball courts *volleyball court *Lake Kai (a small lake for fishing, and non-motorized watercraft use) Other attractions in the area include: *Washington Park *Zoo *Blue Chip Casino *Premium Outlets Mall with over 120+ stores *Lighthouse and Rag Tops car museums *Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and State Park Please note that we maintain a smoke-free and pet-free environment. All cleaning fees are baked into the nightly rate. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day there is a 3-night minimum and all guests are required to purchase resort passes, which cost $15 per person. Parking costs $5 per car. Cleanliness has always been a top priority for our company. If you've stayed with us before, you may have seen this during your visits. Our cleaning and infection control processes were put in place so that when you visit our homes at the Beachwalk, they are both safe and comfortable. We will continue remote check-in/check-out procedures, but as always will be available to take your calls, answer any questions, and provide the overall great service you have come to expect. Early check-ins or late check-outs will be allowed when possible and will be charged at the hourly average of the nightly rate.

Great trip! Property was exactly as described. We had everything we needed for our stay and the communication was excellent. It’s a short walk to the beach and an amazing community. Our kids enjoyed the beautiful playground as well. Thanks for a great stay! We would definitely return.

Came for a family wedding. Family rented 4 houses which all were close by…and close to local host family. Loved September weather and quality restaurants and places we could walk to and beautiful sunsets. Area is just getting better as the years go by.

House was very nice. Location was close to the park, community center, neighborhood lake, and pool. Walking distance to Lake Michigan as well but a golf cart would be more convenient (available for rent from activity center). Did have an issue with noise at a neighboring house but owner was receptive to this. Otherwise great house and great area!

The house had plenty of room for a family of 5.
There was a short leisurely walk to the boardwalk and over the sand dunes to the lake, and the entire Beachwalk community was very peaceful and quiet during our stay. We would love to come back here during the warmer summer months and get to use the pool.
We also were grateful for the beach wagon and even extras like beach chairs and an umbrella needed for a rainy afternoon spent shopping at the nearby Lighthouse outlets.
There’s plenty to do in the area, and I’d also recommend driving about 20 minutes up the road to New Buffalo, MI. The Galien River Marsh Preserves was a great place to walk with beautiful scenery, and a tower overlook.
We were also about to walk down the beach to the lighthouse and it was fun to see. We also had the beach almost all to ourselves the entire time, and the blue water of Lake Michigan felt like we were at the ocean.

The house was clean and well kept. Parking was straightforward and the host gave very detailed instructions for check in and check out. The location in the resort was perfect. Easy walk to the beach. Our toddler loved looking at the trolls and the little nook under the stairs.
