Austin Street Haus is equipped with the HALO-LED first LED in-duct, whole home air purification system that is both mercury free and zero ozone compliant providing you with a healthy, clean environment. The Austin Street Haus is in an ideal location. Schlitterbahn is 4 blocks down the street, and within a mile of downtown and the river access at Hinman Island Park. It is a charming 3/2 Victorian built in the early 1900's with updated amenities making it a comfortable retreat for 6 of your family and friends. When you are finished playing on the river, enjoy the solitude of this lovely home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Sit on your front porch with your favorite beverage to watch the neighborhood deer, hummingbirds, and other urban wildlife. Step into the living room and notice the high ceilings, hardwood floors, window transoms, and charming decor and embellishments. You are truly in a doll house. Three bedrooms and 2 full baths make this a comfortable home for 6 guests. TVs in the living room (65”) and each of the bedrooms round out your viewing opportunities. The home is fully furnished with linens, towels, utensils, dishes, pots and pans. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, gas oven/stove, dishwasher and coffeemaker. There is a separate dining area in the sunroom/office. The back screened porch houses the washer/dryer. Exit out the rear door to find a lovely backyard with a glider, outdoor furniture, and picnic area for some down-home entertainment and visiting. As a guest at The Austin Street Haus, you have the entire home all to yourself. Because of its location near Schlitterbahn, downtown, and the river, it’s just perfect for your stay in New Braunfels and Texas Hill Country. Tucked away, yet centrally located to the myriad number of restaurants and events, you’ll have a terrific experience. Welcome to the Austin Haus! Other things to note: The "Austin Street Haus" has a permit with the city of New Braunfels as an approved short term vacation rental which assures your health and safety. Host requires a signed rental agreement. The agreement is provided via email and must be returned completed and signed before access information is granted. ***Alternative rate and payment arrangements for long-term stays (30+nights). From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home in this Victorian gem near the river! From the exquisite attention to detail with an assortment of colors, patterns and textures, to all the amenities needed to make this the perfect stay, we simply could not have asked for more. To top it off, Sabrina was prompt, kind and accommodating in her responsiveness to our personal needs!

We had a great stay at this adorable cottage. The owner was so accommodating and communication, check in/out, and the entire process was as smooth as could be. Perfect location for our Schlitterbahn weekend just a few blocks away. Highly recommend!

Came to Gruene for a girl's weekend and the house was perfect! Plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable! We weren't within walking distance of activities, but Uber is inexpensive and very quick! Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

The property owner was exceptionally helpful and communicative! Perfect location to use Uber! We didn't have any issues getting in and out of the house, the beds were overall comfy, it's a quiet neighborhood with many " deer friends" to watch. We used the washer/ dryer and coffee maker which were both helpful to have, and found the home overall interesting with its antique charms!

We had a great time in this New Braunfels home. The owner was great. Quick to respond, she even loaned us a few items that were above and beyond what is expected in a rental. Thank you for the coolers. The home is an older home as advertised. Early 1900s but it was very comfortable. Nice big bathroom off the kitchen. Late July heat, and the AC worked great. It didn't make much of difference to us but for future visitors, please be aware that there is a home behind the house on the same property that someone lives in. This makes utilizing the back yard a little awkward. The back yard is their front yard. As for this home it is close to everything. The Comal river, restaurants, and a few convenience stores are near by. Gruene, TX is a short drive as well and a great place to visit.

Had a great, fun and laid back trip to float the River with family and friends. The house is quaint and cozy. If you forgot something, it is stocked for convenience and ease of mind. These owners think of everything! Highly recommend and will definitely rebook again in the future!

We were a group of four adults and three teenage girls. Sabrina was so accommodating. The house is cute, clean, and well stocked. The location is perfect for quick access to restaurants, shops, and a river float. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the front porch.

The house was charming but the twin beds are SMALL not suited for an adult but a child would be fine. The soap dispensers appeared to just be filled with water. Or watered down soap? House was near everything we needed but probably wouldn’t stay again. Just wasn’t for us.

Loved the house. Was a great location, 5 minutes to any place we went. AC works great and for an old house, stayed cool. Sabrina was very helpful. Need to update your WiFi information on the email PDF, but everything else was great. Neighbors were a little loud playing music but could not hear it from inside. House was adorable! Beds were comfy.

This is the second time our family has stayed at Austin Haus. We found it to again be the perfect place for our family of 6. Love our time on the porch and the home is cozy and quaint. Close proximity to all NB and Gruene attractions. Sabrina is easy to work with and always helpful. Our kids especially enjoyed watching for deer!

We loved our stay! The beds were comfy, the air conditioning kept it nice and cool despite the august heat, the large TV was great for hanging out, the coffee was delicious, and the house was clean and well equipped! We loved seeing the deer come right up on the property. It was a quick stay but we would definitely come back if we vacation to the area in the future!

Came up to New Braunfels for a weekend concert with friends and the house was the perfect location. Close to everything but on a quiet stretch of road. The house was extremely clean and everything was in working order. The check in was a breeze and the owner was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect size for two couples.
