Ideal Location. Great Service, Bungalow with Everything.

Arguably the best accommodations in Rarotonga. It is just maybe 100km down the beach from the highest priced accommodation on the island but far less crowded and with better beach access. The beach seems to go on forever. After our wanderings about the island, there is no place I would rather stay. Our bungalows was essentially right on the beachside with all of the amenities included ( bikes, kayaks, standup paddle boards, breakfast, washing machine, fully equipped bungalow). The staff is incredibly helpful. The hotel is next door to the Muir Night Market and a convenience store is closely.

The provide breakfast was the biggest disappointment - store loaf bread with minimal butter and jelly an adequate juice. Their bikes are in poor condition - essentially fixed gear. They could also use more 2-person kayaks. All that said, we are glad that this place was our choice of accommodation.

First holiday in Rarotonga, Muri Beach is great place to stay close to lots of activities and eateries

We would stay again.

Location right on the lagoon perfect, we enjoyed the sea breeze. Only had to go down a few steps to swim. Lots of eating places within walking distance bus stop just out front. Ideal for a couple and others we met were friendly, nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay.

A+ location, service and staff!

Really enjoyed our stay here! So handy and unexpected having our airport transfers organised, and so promptly too. The location was perfect, as everything we needed was within walking distance. Fantastic service and communication throughout our stay, with regular updates written on the reception notice board and relevant newsletters placed in our room (very helpful while we were visiting during the public holiday period with different closures). Was great to have the reef shoes, kayaks and bikes available for use, and appreciated the complimentary breakfast provided. Definitely recommend taking ear plugs, as the local roosters will be sure to give you an early wake up call! Will gladly return the next time we visit the beautiful island of Rarotonga. Exceptional

Complementary breakfast was a surprise. Free use of kayak, paddleboard and snorkels. Very relaxing atmosphere. Coffee, bakery, dairy, bar within 60 second walk. Super friendly staff.

No aircon in main dining area.

A must stay place at Raro

Very friendly and welcoming staff, complementary fresh fruits, spacious appartement direct at the lagoon, free use of bicycle, kano, sup's, and snorkel gear. Next to nice little night market, bus stop at the front, complementary pick-up/drop at the airport, complementary breakfast was fine but simple. When available, ask for appartement 1, right at the lagoon

Location was perfect, great to have access to snorkels, kayaks etc, enjoyed the sea facing villas and being next to friends with shared bbq etc was perfect.

Absolutely loved our time at Muri Beachcomber. Couldn't have picked a better spot to honeymoon!

Keys and check-in information was provided to us upon arrival at the airport which was absolutely amazing after a long day. Airport transfers were included so it was effortless getting to our villa and also to get straight in to the room. Staff at Muri Beachcomber were amazing and super welcoming. One of our tours had cancelled for the next day. The staff recommended another as a replacement and they even made the call and booked us in. Location was absolutely perfect. A few steps and we could get to the Koka Lagoon Cruise. A few steps the other way and we had multiple dinner options at the night markets. As newlyweds embarking on our honeymoon, it was a sweet gesture to be greeted with a bottle of champagne and a personalised note upon entering our villa. Extremely unexpected but was such a perfect surprise to start our honeymoon. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay and would recommend Muri Beachcomber in a heartbeat.

Had a great stay.

Beautiful location on the lagoon. Very spacious, well equipped unit. Friendly, helpful staff.

Breakfast pack was very basic consisting of 2 single serve cereal, white bread with condiments & juice.

A well earned holiday in the sun and warmth, very laid back cherry atmoshere.

Locality of Muri Beachcomber to the lagoon, units were very comfortable and clean. Bus transport at the front and the amount of other various activities do do and visit in the area. The onsite pool was great and the lagoon was only a short stroll away with easy access down to the beach.

Everythingwas to our satisfaction.

Excellent location, walking distance to various restaurants and caffe's. Loved the access to the bicycles, kayaks, snorkeling gear. Well stocked little "library". Beautiful swimming beach. Nearest good snorkeling point about 2.5km per road (easy cycle) or beautiful stroll along the beach. Reception extremely friendly and helpful to book excursions. Very clean apartments and resort grounds. Comfortable. Clean. Relaxing. Well looked after.

Breakfast was underwhelming.

Our holiday was very relaxing. The kitchen was really well equipped.

Breakfast was good. Location was excellent. We had a garden suite which was very quiet. The staff were wonderful. All communication was answered with prompt, efficient service.

The staff are welcoming and helpful. They made our stay, a memorable one. Having a toddler with us and having cooking facilities in the room, made our stay a breeze. The use of in-house paddle boards and kayaks was a massive bonus.

A comfortable and enjoyable stay in an awesome location.

Right from our arrival, the whole experience was very efficient. We were handed our keys by the representative who was doing the airport transfer. On arrival at the accommodation, as things are still pretty quiet in Rarotonga, we were delighted to find we had been upgraded to a seaview bure. The view was to die for, and we were only about 30 steps to the sand. The decor in the bure was lovely and the air conditioning in the bedroom was a godsend at this time of the year (March). Everything you can think of is provided free - use of bikes, kayaks, SUPs, snorkeling gear, shampoo, hair dryer etc. The location is superb - right in the hub of Muri beach with the night markets right next door, a convenience store 3 minutes walk, and the sailing club a very short stroll along the beach. We hired a scooter from a Rarotonga Rentals which was just across the road. We appreciated the convenience of the continental breakfast that was delivered to our room each afternoon in readiness for the next day. We also were granted a late checkout when we left. Our host, Debbie, was very friendly and helpful, even giving us a ride to a local restaurant on a rainy evening. We'll be back!

The perfect location for relaxing holiday

Picked up at the airport and given instructions and room keys, so we could be dropped off and straight into our accommodation. Knowledgeable staff on reception and free use of kayaks, SUP, snorkel gear. Location was right on the beach with a lovely pool to use too.

Lockdown in paradise!

Muri Beachcomber has a family feel to it, a fantastic team of staff who are all prepared to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great holiday. The location couldn't be better, central to everything in Muri but still quiet and private.
