Beautiful location with the best concierge in the world, Frank! Thank you! Nice restaurants as well, though the buffet could be improved a tad: fresh yogurt would be nice.

We stayed at the InterContinental Xishuangbanna in February 2026 as a family trip with grandparents and children, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel grounds are stunning – it feels more like a tropical resort park than a regular hotel. The architecture is beautiful and full of local character, and the gardens are spacious, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing walks. It’s ideal for families, photography lovers, and anyone who enjoys a quiet and scenic atmosphere. Our suite was very spacious and comfortable. The room was clean, well-designed, and had a lovely view of lush greenery. The bathroom was large and well equipped. Overall comfort was excellent. The hotel is especially family-friendly. There are many activities for children, and the restaurant even offers special kids’ meals. In the evening, there are entertainment options that make the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were warm, attentive, and always helpful. A special thanks to the butler team for their kindness and quick responses to all our questions. Location-wise, it’s convenient and well connected while still feeling secluded and peaceful. If there is one small suggestion, some facilities could be slightly updated, and better accessibility for strollers in certain areas would make it even more perfect. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Xishuangbanna.

Location is good, outdoor swimming pool is not open but only a kids waterpark, indoor swimming pool is available and it is good. Breakfast is okay but too crowded after 9:00AM. The hotel room facilities are outdated, but the resort is well-maintained with beautiful scenery. The travel photography styling requires an additional fee, but the photos are skillfully taken and completed in just 30-40 minutes.

The daily free activities, such as floating water lanterns, are too short. The room is particularly humid, and the old carpet causes a strong odor. The dehumidifier fills up with water in just one afternoon.
