Excellent stay at wheat youth hostel ,

The manager was a good man ,it is near to all scenic areas and was a clean place .would recommend this to all the expats

Very good

Excellent location, everything is within walking distance. A wonderful street with a lot of seafood restaurants for all tastes. The hotel itself is quiet and cozy, I was able to relax and sleep comfortably.

There was no toilet paper in the toilet and the crib is definitely too small for a 2m person considering my size

My friend stayed at the Kaiyue hostel literally a 10 minute walk away and said it was great.

Quiet, empty, there was virtually nobody there.

I mean, I picked the cheapest hostel so I kinda got what I deserved. I arrived and the entire place had shutters all over the windows and the door was locked. I eventually get in after 10 minutes of wondering whether it's even open and I get shown round the place. The rooms are probably as you'd expect. But there was no AC and it was stupidly hot at night. There was also a thunder storm which kept me awake as was the non existent sound proofing of the room. I didn't sleep there the 2nd night, but on the 3rd, all the smoke alarms were just bleeping constantly throughout and no one did anything about it. I took the one in the room off the ceiling and stuffed it under the pillows of an empty bed but could still hear all the others due to the no sound proofing. I guess foreigners are usually a hostels main source of operating but due to the foreigner entry ban, I got the impression they had basically given up.

A cozy spot, with plenty of food options around.

Very affordable. Conscience store nearby.

The main gate has to be locked after midnight (which I understand) but it felt a bit awkward to phone in every time we came in after 12AM.
