Terrific location, and lovely facility, felt right at home, wonderful tea ceremonites, restaurants and gym facilities.
Not many colleagues spoke english but that is understandable.

Loved our stay at InterContinental Kunming. Spacious rooms, peaceful environment and outstanding service. Reception staff and Conceirge team was very helpful .

Wonderful stay at intercontinental Kunming . Reception staff were very helpful esp Ethan. The Conceirge team was also very attentive and made our stay very pleasant . Rooms were clean & spacious . I would return thanks !!

A very beautiful hotel with grand lobby and majestic entry. The decor is elegant and the gardens are beautiful. The room was well appointed with a good view of the hotels central garden. I would have liked a small guest handbook explaining the available facilities.
Good hospitality is made by people and unfortunately I did not feel super welcome here. Check in was flat and I did not receive any information about my room location or where and when breakfast where was served. Not a major issue but it led to me feeling very "foreign" while travelling solo so far from home. I ended up staying in my room for the duration of my stay.
