About this house rental
Nestled in Bolivar Peninsula, this charming house for $677 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. RR Big Deck features not one, but two large decks (upper and lower). Experience high-end living at beach at this fabulous house. House has 2900 square feet of living space and features 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths. Large primary suite has king-sized bed, large walk-in shower and tub plus double sinks. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 each have queen sized beds with 55" flat screen TV's and bedroom 5 is a double size bedroom upstairs and has 2 queen sized beds and a 65" flat screen TV. Preparing a meal will be a breeze in the spacious kitchen with plenty of cabinet space, propane range, and all the things you would expect to have in your own kitchen! There is large bar for meal preparation and/or serving. All TVs are DIRECTV connected and the house has high speed internet with coverage from top to bottom . After you enjoy a day at the beach, come back and relax on one of the many chairs on the decks, or play pool on the table upstairs and enjoy perfect unobstructed views of the beach! Recently installed whole home generator to ensure your trip is uninterrupted!! Brand new deck furniture, brand new washer and dryer AND we just had the pool table re-felted and leveled and it looks awesome! Enjoy a game of pool while the game is on the 70" big screen! We absolutely love this house, and we are sure you will too! Recently replaced entire HVAC system and added whole home generator to ensure your stay will be comfortable. Towels, linens and small soaps are provided.

I had to contact owner several times for the key code. Beautiful view from property. The property is in need of repairs. The downstairs bedroom toilet need repairs. The linen looked as if it needed to be washed again before using them. All closets were locked; no where to hang close. The bathroom rugs looked as they had not been washed in a while. The top oven was dirty. Upstairs bedrooms had no window covering. You could see directly into the bedrooms. Mattresses should be replaced; broken chairs should be replaced. The deck needs repairs. Rusty nails should be removed. The house did not have a fresh smell. We were planning on renting again before our stay; we decided not to rent this property again,

The location and house were exactly what we were looking for when I was doing my research. It had plenty of space for the 4 adult couples and 10 year old boy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for the family and the layout and massive deck were a big hit. The star of the show was definitely the recently installed power generator. On our first night, the power went out in the neighborhood at 10pm. The generator kicked on in a few seconds and ran the entire night for 9 hours! You might think this is a "nice to have", but our house was the only house I could see that had that capability. If you know anything about Texas summers, having AC is a must and I can't tell you how much we appreciated the feature. The owner was very responsive to my questions and I would highly recommend the property!

Celebrated Christmas in July with family from 3 states. Beautiful spacious home that very comfortably accommodated 12 adults. Great view from the decks and the lift made arriving and leaving sooo much easier. The pool table was a nice bonus too. It is very close to the drive on access to the beach which was also a bonus.
However the biggest bonus was the generator because the electricity was out for several hours on our day of arrival but we were nice and cool! Infact we didn't even realize the power was off until we noticed the lights off around us and we heard the sound of the generator running. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the house. Very spacious and clean. We enjoyed being so close to the beach. It was perfect for our family to come and go as they wanted. We were there for the 4th of July. The beach was packed, but it cleared out after the 4th. We were surprised that vehicles were allowed on the beach.

We enjoyed our trip. There were nine of us total with three kids ranging in age from 3 to 8. The house was great. The large living/dining area allowed us all to comfortably be together. Just a short walk to the beach for ocean time. Everyone agreed the house was fantastic and we appreciated the opportunity to use it for our vacation.

The 12 of us try to get away from it all once a year. We came from Kirbyville , Mont Belview, and San Marcos. This was the perfect place for us. Plenty of space, easy beach access, all the extras we want. I hope to return next year.

The house is beautifully decorated with a master downstairs and 4 nice sized bedrooms upstairs with a pool table. Televisions are huge in every room. Everyone talked about how comfy the beds were. We look forward to a beach trip every year with our grown kids and now a couple of little grands. We had a 6 person golf cart delivered and I highly recommend this for trips back and forth to the beach with all of your stuff. We had cornhole tournaments on the lower level and enjoyed the decks for card games and morning coffee. We always bring our pot for an outdoor shrimp boil on the last night. The smell of that fresh out of the ocean shrimp boiling with music, ocean waves and fireworks from others on the beach are memories you just cant beat. The beach was also super clean this year, no seaweed at all. This house has everything you need to make a wonderful vacation for your family. AND that lift for getting all of our things up and down was worth its weight in gold!! Host was super responsive prior to our stay and we didnt have a need to contact them during our stay. Also the couple of nights we went out, plenty of choices within minutes of the house. And the donut shop a block away, golf cart was great for that. Amazing memories from our time at this house. Thank you to the hosts for thinking of everything and then sharing with our family!!

The deck was spacious with a beautiful view. We cooked alit and the kitchen was well equipped and had all we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and well taken care of!! We take our family on vacations at least once a year and our daughter said this place has the most comfortable beds! Ashley and her husband were great! Super responsive and very accommodating! We rented a golf cart and had a great time! Looking forward to coming back!

Our family of 11 people enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year. The location to the beach, The Big Store and other places was convenient. The house is very nicely decorated, comfortable furniture and has plenty of kitchen furnishings. We would prefer that the upstairs bedroom deck doors have blinds or covering similar to the downstairs bedroom deck door. We improvised by using single sheets that we brought. Some suppers were enjoyed on the deck in the shade and breeze using the wooden tables and chairs. We were glad that the house has a lift as some members of our family have mobility difficulties and it was used to lift ice chests, etc. We were grateful that the house has a generator as power in the area was lost for several hours during one afternoon. We thank the Rogers for offering their house as a beach rental.

Perfect home
This home was perfect!! It was plenty big for our families to share, and so so nice. The finishes and furnishings of the home were beautiful. The deck is amazing, 3 big wooden tables with umbrellas and chairs, with a view that is awesome. The lift was so nice to use, very helpful. The property manager was awesome to work with. This was our first time staying in Crystal Beach, we loved this home and our time there.

This home was perfect for our family. It has lots of space and everything you need. The deck space was amazing and made for a great place to hang out for everyone at night. The proximity to the beach was perfect. The owners were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The pool table and lift were added bonuses you don't find in other homes. We would rent this property again.

Wonderful Family Beach House
Everything at the house was perfect and wonderful! The house was clean and spacious. The views of the ocean were amazing and the proximity to the beach was so nice. The beds were comfortable and sheets were soft. The upstairs did say it would be better if there were blinds because it was too bright but who sleeps at the beach? We did rent a golf cart which I highly recommend if you have a large group or children. The weekend was very busy and we did have a little trouble finding a spot but it was our fault because we got a late start. The beach was beautiful! I’ll never drive all the way to South Padre again. Crystal Beach is just as nice with more sea shells than you can imagine. This was the first family vacation we took as a family and it was just wonderful! We can’t wait to come back. I was so sad on the drive home I was already planning our next trip and would for sure book this house again!

Beautiful home! Beautiful views, amazing large kitchen / family gathering area, deck area, convenient location to the beach, elevator lift (which came in sooo handy for luggage, groceries), I could go on!

We had 4 generations staying with us. The house was very accomodating espcially with the lift helping great grandmothers and children getting up and down into the house. The view was great and beach access so easy! The house was large enough for us all to move about and enjoy being together. Spacious & so well appointed & supplied! The view, assessibility to beach & property inside & out perfectly met our desires. My husband is handicapped & being able to use the cargo elevator for him made this trip possible. The owner responded so quickly through the whole possible. Without a doubt we would book this property again!
