The location of the hotel is fantastic - close to the convention center and in the heart of Polanco, lots of great attractions are within a 15-20 minute walk. I LOVED being able to walk to high end shopping, restaurants and the Soumaya art museum. There was hot water in the shower (though not in the bathroom sink), the bathroom and bedrooms were clean, I appreciate that there is someone at the front desk 24/7. Lots of cute cafes and green spaces nearby.
Traffic sounds at all hours of the day and night are very loud. There is a closeable window, but it's single paned and even with the windows closed it was still very loud. There was also a lot of light that seeped through the blinds, so if you're light or noise sensitive this would not be the place for you. The beds felt and smelled neutral if not quite clean, though there was some hair on the floor in the living room that told me that the living/kitchen space might not have been the most well cleaned. But the bedrooms felt good and I am very pleased by that.
The beds were also VERY hard (but this is normal in Mexico and every single hotel I've ever stayed at in Mexico City).

I have now stayed at this location 3 times when visiting Mexico City. Even though I understand very little Spanish I have always been welcome and had my needs met at this place. When my flight had a very late arrival the 24 hour desk staff were kindly able to check me in at any hour. I intend to stay here again for future visits. The apartments have also been larger than expected with a kitchen included etc.

The staff was always willing to help, very friendly. The location was superb
The overall look of the place is very run down, not at all like the pictures. Also there was no free cancellation available even though the place was nothing like the pictures. If it weren't for the location we wouldn't have stayed there at all. Some furniture was broken or chipped. We got everything wet the first day because the bathroom had a leak (they came to fix it quickly). The wifi had very unstable signal
