Upon arrival, we were given a very warm welcome!
The B&B we were assigned was very spacious. It had a large kitchen with a seating area, a spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed, and a lovely bathroom. Nothing about it felt particularly luxurious (except for the two fantastic air conditioners and the WiFi), but everything was simply good and well taken care of.
The swimming pool was cleaned every morning and was absolutely great. Comfortable sun loungers were also provided.
The location is also set in a stunningly beautiful surroundings, surrounded by extensive vineyards and centuries-old olive trees. The peace and tranquillity, the breathtaking landscape and the authentic atmosphere make this a wonderful place to completely relax and enjoy everything this beautiful area has to offer.
For a delicious Italian espresso, you can visit the shared recreation room, where coffee is available free of charge (with the option to leave a voluntary contribution).
The owner is more than happy to take you around and show you her own vineyard (winery) and olive trees. One of the options you can book on-site is a wine tasting, which we highly recommend!
The location is very central, and within an hour's drive you can reach all the well-known places in Tuscany. We stayed at this location for 12 days and, besides being completely immersed in the Tuscan lifestyle, we also managed to fully relax and unwind.
For us, it is definitely a place we would happily return to.

De locatie is geweldig en het appartement zag er voortreffelijk uit. Je kan op meerdere plekken heerlijk zitten.

Het was een fijne rustgevende plek. De kamer was heel schoon en er was een goed werkende airco wat het verblijf aangenaam maakte. Het zwembad is perfect onderhouden en in veel gevallen kun je hier alleen of met weinig andere gasten van genieten. De gastvrouw is ontzettend lief, gastvrij en toegankelijk, vertelde graag over haar werk en de omgeving en denkt mee waar nodig. Er stond voldoende koffie en andere lekkernijen om van te genieten bij het ontbijt. Iedere ochtend verse vijgen van de vijgenboom! Wat een kadootje. Daarnaast dat was het uitzicht op iedere hoek van het terrein adembenemend. En als kers op de taart hebben ze heerlijke eigen wijnen en olijfolie! Deze waren te proeven met een interessante proeverij en te koop als souvenir voor thuis of om te genieten aan het zwembad.

Het is een rustige plek in een gebied dat niet erg toeristisch is, maar waar vanuit je wel naar toeristische hoogtepunten kunt gaan. Het is een perfecte plek om je terug te trekken en echt tot rust te komen. De host is erg vriendelijk en nodigde ons zelfs uit voor een wijn- en olieproeverij op locatie. Alles ziet er erg modern uit met luiken die erg goed afsluiten tegen licht en de airco doet het goed. Het zwembad is heerlijk, een perfecte temperatuur in de hete Toscaanse zon en er hangt geen chloorlucht. In ons appartement zat geen keuken, maar we konden vrij gebruik maken van de gezamenlijke keuken met alle benodigde keukengerei. We konden zelfs buiten koken op kolen. Dit is echt een geweldige locatie!
