This condo offers an oceanfront master bedroom with king bed and access to the huge oceanfront wrap around balcony. The master bath offers granite counter tops, double vanities, a large Jacuzzi tub, a separate shower and a walk-in closet as well as tile flooring. The second room offers a king bed, the third room offers one queen bed and fourth bedroom offers two queen beds. Other features include flat screen TVs, full sized washer and dryer, and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, this condo creates a large and spacious stay for you and your guests. Activities onsite include the indoor and outdoor pool complex which includes a lazy river, 2 pools, 4 hot tubs and children’s splash pool all overlooking the beach along with a fitness center and tanning lawn. • Master Bedroom - 1 King Bed • 2nd Bedroom - 1 King Bed • 3rd Bedroom - 1 Queen Bed • 4th Bedroom - 2 Queen Beds - 7 night minimum from Saturday to Saturday required in peak summer season and 3 night minimum outside summer season. - Luxury Linen package included! - This is a non smoking building. It was spacious, great location and many of the comforts of home (i.e., comfortable bedding; and entertainment).Unfortunately, some items need attention: Kitchen:Cookware - Frying pans stick, stove top scratched up, utensils/ dishes outdated - not matching - items piled up and stuffed in cabinets - out of sorts - no system / neatness. Sink stopper doesn’t hold water, faucet broken and leaks, ice maker not working properly (couple days to replenish ice). Spots on tile around kitchen / living room floor.Living room: Furniture- couch springs seem to be gone - sits very low; pillows could use fluffing/ cleaning/ replacing.Window Treatments: No curtains or blinds in living room no room darkeners in any room - doesn’t allow sleep-in mornings - too much light.Several TV remotes missing battery covers.Carpet in hallway cut-up / snagged. Walls: drywall cracks and peeling , nails sticking out of the wall, smudges and spots / scratches on walls and molding at several door entrance ways.Master Bathroom across from kitchen: toilet flush valve bad - constant running noise; stopper broke in first sink.First Bathroom down the hall: Bulb missing; rust around owners closet (maybe water damage/leak) -unsightly. Last Bedroom at end of hallway: sliding door difficult to open-maybe off track. Overall my stay was okay but much more was expected; no glimmer and glamour compared to past vacation condo rentals. The pad locks and sticky notes on owners doors was a bit unsightly and unnerving as well. Renovation and maintenance upkeep would definitely make this condo a winner.

This was our first time staying on this property and have to say that it is lovely. The pools and lazy river are adequately sized and we're not crowded during the entirety of our stay.
The unit fit our needs well for the week. I was surprised to find that there were no curtains on the living room windows. We had an issue during the stay where the dryer died early in the week, but the management and the owner had the dryer replaced by the end of the week, so only a minor inconvenience.
The shower in the master suite wasn't very well cleaned upon check-in (there was hair on the wall) and there were cleaning towels on one of the beds that had been used for cleaning. Other than that, there were no issues with our stay. We will strongly consider this property again for our next trip to the beach!

Property was exactly as it was described. Convenient location. Views of the beach and sunrise from the balcony were great. Lots of space in the condo. Kitchen fully stocked. There were 2 beach chairs available. One of the outdoor pools was under construction. Outdoor pools not heated but there is an indoor pool. Plenty of parking available. Would definitely recommend to others.

The overall stay was really nice. Nice property/hotel. The checkin process was terrible. Address sent us to a different location. Then we had to check in at the hotel next door because no one at the lobby. Then we were told that we were supposed to get a email with room number and code . Didn’t have this because we were told we “signed the agreement too late” although that was signed days prior. Fail on Vrbo not necessarily the property owner

I only gripe about the entire vacation is that I wish I had checked into whether or not any of the pools were heated. We came down in early October right after hurricane Ian. The first few days of our stay we're very cloudy and cool. We had hoped that the indoor pool would give the four kids we were traveling with something to do if the weather was not great. All of the pools including the lazy river were freezing for most of our stay. Other than that no complaints the condo was beautiful, the beach was easily accessible and the entire complex was well maintained.

It was our 4th time renting the condo we were in. We love the location and the layout fits us perfectly! We are planning to stay again in the future but hope that a few updates can be done sometime soon. The mattresses of the beds seem to be in need of replacement. Several of us had back issues after a couple night's sleep. One of the bed's was broken (under the mattress/box spring) and we had to "wing it" to make it so that our family member could even sleep in it. (I reported this to the condo manager) We also had a "drone" come up to our balcony and hang there so that was a bit disturbing but not sure how that can be addressed? Other than those issues we love the condo and will be back! Thanks!

My family along with our friend's family had a great time. Our group consisted of 2 married couples and 2 teenage young men (13 & 14). The condo was spacious enough to have our privacy. Their were plenty of dishes & seating. The view was spectacular morning, noon and night. The location was very central to the Broadway, 2 Tanger outlets, the Original Calabash, multiple mini golf locations, etc.

Spacious, clean and well equipped. Loved the wrap around porch/deck! There were 10 of us down for an annual “girls” trip. Didn’t have any issues except with fire alarm which kept going off and we couldn’t get them to stop. Also there is not an on site ice maker so we had to buy lots of ice at the store. Loved having beach chairs and umbrella included with our condo. Kitchen was well equipped.

This PH condo by far was the best place we have stayed in. It had everything the 6 of us needed with a great layout. Great view, easy access to beach, indoor and outdoor pools. Unexpectedly, at 4 am on the first night, 3 of the smoke alarms went off 3 times and had us, along with the people next door, quite panicked. The property management Co. sent someone to replace them the next morning, and he was very personable and professional. We hope to have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful property again.

We were very pleased with our most recent stay in PH 1 at the South Wind. We usually stay in North Myrtle but decided to try something different this year. We are REALLY glad we did. We always try to book a higher room so we don’t hear noise above and will often try to find a PH. However not all penthouse units are created equal! The South Wind was the nicest place we’ve stayed and our room was fantastic. The building was clean and quiet, the beach was not overly crowded and the drive to Broadway at the Beach (where our 20-something year old kids wanted to go) was only about ten minutes away. It was a perfect family vacation

It was a great trip. Condo was really nice fit for our family. Nice and quiet location and wasn't to crowded around the pool or beach. The indoor pool was so cold you couldn't get in it. Its the middle of July, it shouldn't be that cold. There is some maintenance issues with the condo. The towel rack in the main bath was broken off the wall, the main door knob was about to fall off. The sheets are very cheap and the bed spreads seem very old. other than that we loved our stay. We are recommending this condo to another family and they are planning on staying here very shortly.

Penthouse luxury…no, top floor …yes. Not what I would consider luxury by any means. Lacking amenities, old, dirty moldy shower, carpet coming up (tripping hazard), not even a hair dryer. Broken luggage rack. The list goes on. Should get a refund for some if the rate but property manager does not care about making this right for the customer. Therefore I will not rent from them again. Very disappointed! As a Vrbo property owner I need to make things right for guests from time to time.
