First room was a little small and bed wasn't firm so our backs suffered so I asked for an upgrade and that was given no charge so a lovely surprise and great for the rest of our stay.
They were extremely helpful in retrieving a shoe that fell out the window 2 floors onto a roof.
I didn't like paper cups being provided instead of china cups or mugs in the room for tea making (also no milk or earl grey tea)

Right next to train station and bus depot, and a 5 minute walk from a grocery store and places to eat. Good breakfast at the hotel. Very good price.
The room was fine, but the bathroom had lots of problems. The water temperature from the sink faucet was very erratic, often coming out hot when it was turned to cold and vice versa. Very frustrating. There also was no fan in the bathroom, so it remained hot and damp hours after taking a shower. The sink didn’t have a stopper or a plug, which made it bad for shaving.

The hotel is right next to the station, almost the whole walk is under an awning. The staff is fast and helpful. The beds were what you expect from APA
The whole place smells like smoke, even on the non-smoking floors. The walls between rooms are so thin you'll hear talking, coughing or snoring. It's stuffy inside, but opening the window pushes air from the hallway into your room, meaning stale smoke air comes into your room rather than fresh air. Compared to other apa hotels it's way too expensive for what you get
