I was prepared to be disappointed by the whole desert experience but the exact opposite happened. The camel ride at sunset, the luxury camp, the rooms, the dinner, breakfast, Berber music, and the great staff all made for a very pleasant stay. The camp was “luxury” with super comfortable rooms. Best night’s sleep.

Echt een fantastische ervaring om een nachtje in de woestijn te slapen (lekkerste bedden van Marokko in onze 15-daagse rondreis!). Vanaf de riad met kamelen naar kamp (in zomertijd vertrek om 18:00 vanaf de riad), daar heerlijk gegeten en verbleven. ‘s ochtends lekker ontbijt, sandboarden en een 4x4-tour gedaan langs locale highligts terug naar de riad. Een ervaring om nooit meer te vergeten! Wij hadden oorspronkelijk 2 nachten in het kamp geboekt maar konden gelukkig nog omboeken naar 1 nacht kamp + 1 nacht riad, anders heb je twee dagen dezelfde ervaring.
Het sandboarden had ik me cooler voorgesteld 🤣 Op het kamp echt niks aan te merken, de riad aan de rand van de woestijn is ook prachtig. Jammere daar is dat er geen snacks te koop zijn voor overdag en het avondeten hebben we lekkerder gehad in Marokko. Maar verder prachtige locatie, met ruime slaapkamer en perfecte, schone faciliteiten.

Riad and Camp Chebbi is fantastic. The staff really go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. Breakfast and dinner included and were excellent. traditional Moroccan food was served. Pool area at the Riad is beautiful and the pool is refreshing even in the September heat. The tents were well appointed and comfortable bathrooms. The only thing was that we couldn’t stay at the camp during the day because the ac turns off at 10am, but that is very understandable. Would highly recommend!
