Once through the gate it was quiet and relaxing away from all the hustle of Florence. We were met by a lovely lady who let us into the property which made everything hassle free

Disappointed no one there to hand over keys within the time frame arranged. Had to call and wait to be met. When he arrived, Coco Places Firenze rep was pleasant friendly person, although appeared unsure of number of guests staying and initially wanted to charge double tourist tax. As discussed with Management and for which received an apology, found stay was affected by lack of soundproofing. Most regularly disturbed was balcony apartment on 1st floor, being directly over entry door. Heard frequent door slamming with guests entering and leaving building. This together with noise from other apartments of footsteps and chairs scraping, impacted on enjoyment of time in Florence and cut trip short as a result Couldn’t leave windows open or enjoy sitting on balcony due to mosquitoes. Found of 2 electric zappers provided only one had sufficient liquid in for long term use (same for both apartments). Mattresses proved to be uncomfortable – initially firm when lay down, although during the night without sprung support, this allowed mattress to sink under the body and tended to wake with lower backache Found WiFi unreliable, a disadvantage when trying to arrange tickets, because tended to freeze/drop out, although know Management advise this is of ‘standard’ Need to be aware - crockery is stacked on open shelving behind worktop/sink space. As a shorter person (5’2”) reaching across and up proved to be a daily challenge. Apartments generally clean, exception being mould in balcony apartment bathroom, dusty lightshades and lighting wires (have attached photos to clarify) Upset Booking.com accommodation photos are not current and in reality rooms do not have any mats or same bright, cosy welcoming feel to them. Found lighting in sitting/dining area dull (guest photos and 1 Booking.com of same garden view apt attached) No written instructions provided to guide on use of things like air conditioning, microwave, where to empty full rubbish bins etc.,
