Un'esperienza da dimenticare.

Purtroppo non è stato una bella esperienza, dopo la prima notte ho lasciato la struttura e ne ho dovuta trovare un'altra, perdendo quello che avevo già pagato. Le foto sul sito sono ingannevoli.

La struttura è vecchia, al piano terra ed arredata con mobili di fortuna, c'è solo una porta finestra da dove si accede quindi non utilizzabile per areare, una piccola finestra nella camera da letto con sbarra ai muri. Pertanto è piena di umidità con una puzza di chiuso e umido che prevale. La pulizia è scarsa e i letti fanno pena, (abbiamo trovato lenzuola e coperte che usavano le nonne), insomma un'esperienza da dimenticare....contattato il proprietario e mostrato le perplessità, suddette, gli ho riferito che lasciavo la struttura dopo la prima notte e avrei gradito un rimborso parziale ma la mia richiesta non è stata accolta. Come se non bastasse la prima sera al rientro dalla cena ho trovato un camion parcheggiato sul marciapiede in corrispondenza dell'ingresso che mi ostruiva letteralmente l'accesso all'appartamento, quindi ho dovuto chiamare il proprietario per risolvere e aspettare più di mezz'ora. Lascio a voi la scelta.

Posizione molto comoda. Non troppo vicino al chiasso del centro, in una zona tranquilla vicina a fermate dell'autobus, ma comunque abbastanza centrale da poter raggiungere tutto anche a piedi e passare di fianco al mercato centrale, canali ecc.

La doccia è un tasto dolente. Per quanto fosse pulita e con ottima pressione, il fatto che non ci fosse una chiusura adeguata la rende un po' scomoda perché esce acqua ovunque e ti si attacca addosso il telo (fin troppo piccolo) mentre provi a lavarti.

Beautiful and quirky apartment. Great decor. Good space.

Maria was very quick to reply with all arrangements but when I had a problem with the heating she didn't reply at all to three separate messages.

Air condition is missing, building was extremely hot, sleeping was almost impossible at 30 degrees C

Nice appartment, close to the port

Comfortable bed in the bathroom, coffe, close to the port, free parking on the street, self chach-in.

Other two beds (couch) are very close to the entrance. For me too close to sleep good, but kids did not disturbed that. :)

Exceptional

Very pleasant place to stay. Maria is very careful about small details that give an even more positive tone. Location is good, only 5 minutes walk from the city center. In the evening the parking lot can be found quite easily, which is an advantage in Livorno.

It is a little bit noisier because it is located on the ground floor and you can hear every engine that passes.

Cosy apartement in the center of Livorno

Very friendly host and everything was perfect. Bedroom was soundproof - so no street noise at night time and early mornings. Keys were in locked box outside, so we could check in anytime we wanted.

Superb

We really enjoyed staying here. It is a nice location, with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and clean, so it was easy to prepare light dinners at home. The location was convenient if travelling to and from the train station/city centre.

We could not find many shops (mini markets around the location) or restaurants, so we had to go towards the city centre. It was rather noisy early in the morning due to construction works next door (I think), but nothing that a good pair of earplugs couldn't solve.

Exceptional

We loved this place and wished we could have stayed longer but only had one night before catching a boat to Corsica. It was beautifully presented throughout, very comfortable, cosy and in a great location. Highly recommend for an insight into local life.

Nothing - some reviews mention the musty smell. We did not find this a problem at all.
