The quiet country setting in a refurbished barn building was awesome
The pool wasn’t heated so swimming was not an option. Also the lounge chairs couldn’t support a 310 pound American man

We had a truly lovely stay at Villa Santa Margherita. The villa is beautifully renovated with great taste, combining character and comfort in a very harmonious way. The location is peaceful and ideal for relaxing and exploring this part of Sicily.
The breakfast was excellent, clearly prepared with great care and love, and made each morning special. A very nice touch was the villa’s own olive oil, which reflects the authenticity and quality of the place.
The property is very well maintained, clean and welcoming, and everything was exactly as described. Communication was smooth and friendly, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay.
We will happily return.
Everything was great!

Beautiful and clean, but that is also what you are paying extra for
Breakfeast not as good as other places we stayed in Sicily even though price at this place was more expensive. Bread was dry and some of the dishes felt like yesterdays left overs. No frigde in the room and from the house rules no food in the room either. We were allowed to uhave snacks in the room, but we were quite puzzled about the rather strange and stright house rules compared to other places. We cannot recommend the place if you have children, because food is needed during the day. You can ask for the place to make some food, but there was no menu, and as we were not impressed with the breakfeast, we were not very interested in ordering.
