We have this experience. We are DIRECT LAKEFRONT! No walking to a lake, no walking and sharing your beach! Stay safe and have your very own experience today! Welcome to: Oxoboxo Lake Cottage Direct lakefront with spectacular views. This small cottage is perfect for 2! Enjoy your very own private sandy beach, dock, fire pit and large deck. Fully furnished inside and out, including use of kayaks. The only thing missing is YOU! Inside: This cozy and newly renovated cottage sits on private Oxoboxo lake in Montville, CT. From the moment you walk into the cottage you see a wall of windows with a million dollar view of the lake. There are views of the lake from every window on 3 sides of the cottage. Once you come in you will find the cottage is nicely furnished inside and out. In the family room you have leather sectional with chaise , glass top tables, TV with a streaming device, stereo and in ceiling speakers. In the eat in kitchen you will find nice new concrete counter tops, plenty of cabinets, table with 4 chairs, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. In the sun room you have a nice chaise lounge looking out at the lake. The bedroom offers a KING size bed, night stand with a lamp. The bathroom offers a stand up shower, toilet and sink. Hardwood and tile floors can be found through out the cottage as well along with a washer/dryer for your convenience. Outside: Once outside you will find a large deck with furniture and a gas grill . Next you will see your very own private sandy beach, dock and fire pit. Please note we do have firewood for 5.00 per crate. Please note, price is for 2 people. We can accept 2 more guests for an extra fee. Located: We are located close to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort Casinos, Mystic, Shopping, hiking and within 40 minutes of Bradley International Airport (Hartford, CT). We are also within 2 hours of Boston and NYC WE DO NOT HAVE ADS ON CRAIGSLIST! ANY AD ON CRAIGSLIST IS FRAUDULENT!

If you're looking to shut down and recharge...this is the perfect spot! The view was simply breathtaking! The cottage was clean, bright and sunny with the most spectacular view of the lake! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay and will definitely return!

This lovely little cabin on lake Oxoboxo was just perfect!! It was right on the water and there was a great little Sandy beach area with lounge chairs and tables. There were kayaks to use as well. The house itself was light and bright and full of sunshine! The kitchen had everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive to any and all questions we had. The lake was just beautiful morning, noon, and night. And it was just completely peaceful and tranquil. It was just wonderful!! We hope to be back next year and stay even longer!!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this little bitty cottage on lake oxoboxo. We couldn’t have been closer to the water and had our own private sand area to make it feel like a private paradise. The lake was peaceful and quiet and the house had everything we needed. We even took a boat ride around the lake with the awesome owners. This weekend away was exactly what the doctored ordered and we both left feeling refreshed! Thank you!!!

The house was exceptionally clean, communication was great and the house was exactly as described. You’re certainly very close to the neighbors (to be expected on lake property), but when sitting on the beach you can’t tell and feel secluded.

The cottage is very clean, comfy, and cozy. The decor is lovely and simple. No clutter at all, so plenty of room for your own "stuff." The area is quiet and family friendly. Victoria was quick to respond to every question asked. I hope to return in the fall or spring. Lake views are calming and beautiful.

Location is great and there are many nearby attractions. We enjoyed staying at the cottage where we could get in the water, sit on the “beach” and grill on the deck that overlooked the lake.
Basic amenities met all of our needs. We did some sprucing up to help us and contribute for others who would be come after us.

Replaced a light bulb in the kitchen and put a battery in the clock.
Washer and dryer were a plus. 😎

We enjoyed staying at this cozy lake cottage and Victoria was very helpful any time we had questions. Having the kayaks there made the stay especially fun. The lake is a perfect size for exploring in a kayak or canoe. We were quite comfortable and hope to return sometime in the future!

Beautiful waterfront property! The views are amazing and the beachfront area helps relax your soul. Victoria greeted us on arrival and even went above and beyond to send us our left behind boat registration sticker. The neighbors were very welcoming and friendly as well. Perfect spot to unwind, float, fish, swim and boat. We also had a few bald eagles soaring above us!! Thank you, Victoria for letting us celebrate our 20 year anniversary at your lakefront oasis.

This was the perfect stay for my friends and I for a much needed beautiful change of scenery. The quiet setting of the lake was so incredibly relaxing. The cottage was the perfect size and very clean. Plus to be able to drive to Groton and Mystic made this trip just perfect all around. We hope to be back again!

This was a perfect little getaway for my husband and and I on our anniversary. The house is a small, little bungalow and pretty much right on the water. Even though the houses in the neighborhood are close together around the lake, it was still real quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed a relaxing weekend, and would love to see it in the summer.

Had a very nice time. Everything was clean and the owner was at the cottage to fill us in on what we needed to know and to answer all our questions. The only downside was the lack of cable tv even though cable is listed in the description. the tv was streaming only and my wife and I do not subscribe to streaming apps. Other than that our experience at the cottage was very enjoyable.

The cottage is well stocked for every need. The fire pit is a really nice feature. The photos of this property are 100% accurate. CT beaches are only 30 minutes or so drive away.
We really enjoyed our vacation at this lakeside retreat!

The stay It was fantastic! Waking up every morning to the beautiful view of the lake is breathtaking! The property was perfect the location in Aber hood it was clean and safe and it was everything that we were looking for in our family vacation with our newborn baby. We couldn’t have asked for any more and this is certainly a location that we would look into staying again!

It was great to have our own private beach, excellent view of the lake, and a firepit. The lake was quiet & peaceful. Victoria, the owner, reached out to us before our arrival to see if we had any questions. It was a good location, with a short drive to Mystic.

We stayed from 9/7 to 9/11/20 and we had a great time. The cottage is adorable, very clean and well stocked, and the view is amazing! Neighbors were closer than expected, but it was quiet and peaceful so no problem. The beach is fantastic and kayaking was so much fun. Our only complaint would be the shower. It's very small - which we could deal with - but the shower head is awful and that made showering a real drag. Victoria was very attentive and we wouldn't hesitate to rent again!

My wife and I stayed here in September for a nice relaxing getaway and to celebrate her 30th birthday. The property and house are very well maintained and the lake was very quiet throughout our stay. Victoria was very nice and responded quickly to our questions. Would definitely come back.
