Fabulous!

Stayed for NYE. Dinner and cocktails were all amazing. Staff went of other their way to help. One of the best hotels I’ve visited.

Highly Recommended!! Cooking class and sunset cruise too!

Gorgeous, understated art deco hotel. Well maintained, spotlessly clean, and excellent service. The staff are attentive and very friendly. The food and beverage quality is excellent. We did the cooking class the hotel offers with Chef Tri and loved it. We appreciated the trip to the market with Chef Tri as our guide and enjoyed learning how to make three Vietnamese dishes. Strong y recommend doing the class with Chef Tri! We also did the sunset cruise to the Thien Mu pagoda and recommend very highly. Lovely canapes and we opted for extra champagne in addition to the one complementary cocktail. Definitely stay here if you visit Hue. Centrally located, near the train station and a short drive, walk or bike to the imperial palace historic site.

It is a stunning hotel which exceeds my expectations. A hidden gem and all team perform excellently for client experiences. Excellent English communications and very warm greetings from ALL team members.

Lovely and relaxing. Super clean

Concierge services amazing. The art Deco bldg is impeccable designed and maintained.

Music is terrible for some reason and it detracts from dining atmosphere. It’s an easy fix.

Wonderful experience - would highly recommend for a luxurious stay in Hue!

Beautiful building, lovely pool and super friendly, helpful and organised staff. It was my husbands birthday and they made so much effort to make our stay special!

Beautiful hotel next to the Perfume River

Small hotel with boutique feel. Beautiful touches. Loved their green ethos with glass water bottles - not plastic. Loved the water cooler option.

It would be good to take a greener approach with the bathroom products - refillable shampoos and conditioners rather than the plastic ones.

The perfect place to stay in Hue

La Residence was the most perfect place to stay. The restored Art Deco building was amazing. it is such a grand building set in beautiful gardens. Our room was very comfortable and our balcony looked over the river. The most delicious breakfast. A fantastic pool which was needed after a day exploring Hue. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We used the hotel bikes to get around Hue. Our stay at La Residence has been a highlight of our trip to Vietnam.

Art deco beauty in historic Hue

Beautiful art deco style building with great location on the river very near to the Citadel. The hotel is very well run and beautifully maintained. It was raining during our stay so we didn’t get to explore the grounds or the pool but they looked lovely as well. The cocktail bar is a lovely place to have a drink after a day of sightseeing.

The bed was especially firm and hard for my comfort level made it difficult to sleep.

Colonial decadence and yet nicely modern. A wonderful Hotel.

An amazing property which has been well maintained. Well appointed and modern but with old decor and colonial feel. The staff are so helpful and friendly and will help you with all your needs.

Beautiful Hotel in a City Full of History and Cultural Treasures

Great location on river across from Imperial Palace. Pleasant walk along the river to the bustling business center. Huge pool and great room with balcony overlooking river. Delicious breakfast buffet and some thoughtful snacks in room. Kind staff.

Pool was as deep as 2.7m but there was no lifeguard! Bathroom was too small.

Loved the architecture, service and everything. For us, it was a real luxury as we don’t often spend so much, but I really feel that it was money well spent.

My favorite place of all Vietnam where we will come back very often.

Landmark location full of history. Heritage building art deco style. Excellent staffs who really care.

Some soft upgrade to the decorations of the bar/lobby such as lighting, curtains etc. to fully return the building's former glamour would make it a much more attractive venue.

Absolutely wonderful. I would love to go back and have recommended it to my family and friends visiting Vietnam.

Wide range of choice for dinner menu. Prices for dinner good by hotel standards. Staff friendly and helpful with good standard of English.

Rather noisy hotel - various sources. A lot of noise from frogs in the hotel pond right throughout the night. Hard to sleep through it. Noise too from staff starting the day shift at 06:00.

Very good

The best hotel pool ever! It's been a while since I stayed at a hotel with such a large and deep pool. It was a true pleasure to be able to take a swim there, so much so that I went back twice in one day.

A la carte breakfast is served due to pandemic prevention measures, but the menu is very limited and items served are not really up to this hotel standard. Cold cuts of substandard quality, no cheese of any sort, no fresh vegetables, smoked/dried fish, avocados, and Nespresso coffee. Azerai should do better on breakfast. Le Perfum restaurant is highly rated for dining on various travel sites, but breakfast experience diverted us from giving it a try.

Huế is such a lovely city and staying at Azerai here really complemented the experience

We missed our flight and therefore we arrived much later than expected, in which the hotel was very understanding and I think that is why we were arranged rooms with riverside view even though we did not book them at first. The service was very good and I am also very satisfied with the food quality (we had breakfast and lunch).

The wifi speed was not very consistent, it was rather slow at some point
