Very happy I chose the Imperial

Great location, fantastic staff. Spacious rooms with water and coffee or tea. WiFi included. Get a river view room, Hue is a beautiful city

hue was awesome, we stayed at the Vin pearl first then the imperial, we will be back to the imperial for sure. Van Duc w

loved the cleanliness, friendliness and in a perfect location.

Fabulous hotel with excellent staff

Exceptional value and lovely staff! Our room was beautiful overlooking the river. Staff were attentive and considerate, especially our front of house man Van Dlic. Extremely helpful. Would recommend. ❤️

Besides the mattresses being shocking, like they were old futon mattress, it was a nice place, decent breakfast and a go

authentic beautiful building. location is good.

the beds were as old as the hotel. we paid for 3 nights and left after the first night. we were given half a nights accommodation back, which to be honest I didn’t expect. so that was nice.

everything is really old. The receptionist at night on the 26th was horrible.

great location

the staff were extremely nice and very attentive, the beds were comfortable.

the gym wasn’t really a gym it had a running machine and a bike, the pool area wasn’t very good as the beds and mattresses (if you can call them that)were tired and dirty. there wasn’t anyone around for drinks whilst at the pool on the 3rd floor you had to go to the 16th floor to the sky bar.

Superb

Feels like a classical hotel, it still retains its glory. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was spacious. Good breakfast options. Room was available for early checkin.

New construction of hotel obstructed the lake view.

Fautless hotel with excellent service and a SUPERB restaurant

Front of house staff - prompt replies on booking.com’s messaging service before we arrived and very helpful in booking private transfers from the airport and for taking us on visits to the emperors’ tombs. The chief of concierge service during our stay was also super friendly and helpful. The restaurant on this hotel deserves an absolute round of applause - we had dinner on the first night as we arrived late and the Bun Bo Hue was the single most delicious dish I have had in Vietnam - the food was so good that we returned the second day for lunch and this time I ordered a grilled squid which also turned out to be gorgeous.. I couldn’t understand why there were hardly anyone in the restaurants whenever we went given how good the food was!

excellent location with a slightly ‘Soviet luxe’ feel

Very well situated, clean

staff seemed to be taking kickbacks for services, found ourselves in a pretty bad restaurant / bad driver based on their recommendation.

clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. The pool was wonderful

the curtains were old and need to be replaced. The ladders into the pool have small round cylinders rungs and should be replaced with flat steps

The hotel had only just reopened and you could tell, it needs abit of a spruce up in the corridors and pool area. We spent an afternoon by the pool and no one was around or came out to see if we wanted anything to eat or drink.

Great location, great room. But facilities are bad.

The room size and the location was good.

Advertising with the presence of a spa. There is no spa anymore… Personnel at the reception was not really helpful. They even tried to charge us something from the minibar that we didn’t consumed.

Breakfast is so-so. A lot of poor quality dishes (juices, breads) Air conditioning and room door are very noisy.
