very disappointed with the hotel generally except for the location

it’s location was good

it was very shabby .. our room was very dated .. we had a cockroach in our bathroom and a lizard living in the curtains. the pool area was dirty. the rooftop bar was closed and the bar downstairs was also shut

overall the hotel needs updating and modernizing, as things have been run down and tired. but the staff were great and v

very good location and the bed is comfortable, the staff were still good

the Bath in our riverside room was dangerous, because it had a spa bath that had sides for your feet but hand to turn around in the shower. There were not enough pillows, and too small. broken cubboard handle, shower fittings were hanging and loose, toilet seat was loose and easily blocked up. no deck chair cushions by the pool. Breakfast was undesirable.

Very good

Central location, close to many restaurants. Room was lovely and breakfast good. Staff were very helpful.

WIFI not good. Loud music from night clubs late into the night.

Maybe too big for me

The Moonlight is well equipped and very centrally located.

I was a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests in the lobby and at breakfast and i think the poor staff were too.

Fantastic stay , great little hotel

Good hotel, great location, close to lots of restaurants, walking distance to the river

Being close to the river we were kept awake with noise from the nearby bars

Good value hotel with great location and wonderful staff

The reception staff were lovely and gave excellent advice and recommendations including a wonder city tour for 990,000 Vdg that was both excellent and excellent value (also we found other paid more elsewhere!) The hotel was also in a great location in the centre of the old town. The spa seemed closed but we booked and we received the most incredible Vietnamese massages ( highly recommended!) The breakfast was also good.

The hotel didn’t seem fully up and running yet but we know that will change but it made it feel a bit worn and dark in parts as a result, but we had great sleeps and a nice room and so this should not put anyone off as it was good value.

Acceptable (Hotel located in noisy area)

Very spacious room. Personnel provided useful tips and services (rental motorbike and bus transport to next destination).

The Hotel is surrounded by clubs and bars with very loud music till late night. It is a problem if you are sensitive to noise at night. The bathroom doesn't have a proper shower. It was a whirlpool bath (difficult access) without curtain.

A really comfortable hotel

A pleasant stay in the tourist city center of Hué. Although the neighborhood is noisy, full of bars and restaurants, the hotel is pleasant and calm. Large and comfortable rooms and really friendly and kind staff at the reception desk, who helped us arrange our transfers and bookings for restaurants and activities. Good breakfast, combining Vietnamese and Western specialities. Very recommendable.

Great staff but other than that not worth it

The hotel is very central and the staff was amazing.

I would have never rated this hotel a 4 star hotel, the the whole building is pretty outdated, from the decor to the furniture. I had to change rooms because the first room I was given had a bathtub that was no longer white but black, and a shower curtain that was full of mold. In my second room, there was a spot with mold just above the sink which was dripping, which means that while washing your face there would be little drops that would fall on your face unless you stayed far away. The elevator would take at least 10 min to arrive and when people would check out they would ask to leave the door open so you would see all the messy and dirty rooms. Other than that, because it is pretty central it is right next to the party street which means there is a lot of noise during the night.

localisation

we booked this hotel mainly because of the swimming pool, which was closed during our stay. In our first room the air condition didnt work, couldnt be turned off for the night, we had to switch the room. rooms are nice but the view bad.

Excellent location and value!

Perfect location! Fantastically kind and helpful staff who went above and beyond for us. Very tidy, clean spacious room and excellent value fir money. Cracking view from the restaurant too!

We were sad the bar wasn’t open on our stay. We would have loved to see that.

Location was great. Staff extremely helpfull and friendly. Nice pool. Would definitely recommend!

We thought that the rooftop restaurant and bar wete closed. Didn’t look very open. But it was okay, enough bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.

a little disappointing, despite the friendliness of the staff

geographic location and breakfast were good, for visiting and for dinner. Also, the staff is very friendly

the hotel is getting old and a little dusty : improvement to be done for pool, cleaning. Also, the fitness area was not availbale

Very good

Right in the center of Pham Ngu Lao, Hue which is full of lively vibe at night. The room is clean and tidy, with direct balcony city view. Staff are friendly and I kinda like their Hue accent, really sweet and calm.

As this is located on Pham Ngu Lao street so in the evening till midnight, you can't ride on your vehicles to the hotel

Clean & comfortable hotel located in walking zone where drinks, pubs and eateries are situated.

Clean and comfortable hotel with good breakfast and reasonably room rate.

None as it was a very short stay.

Good location bad facilities

The location was good and the staff were nice. We were also able to check in early.

One of the rooms wreaked of cigarettes despite being non-smoking, although they did move us. The spa wasn’t open, and the pool was green. Basically a 2 star hotel at that point…

Good value for money and good location.

Good value for money. Location is good as it is next to the busy bars/restaurants area but you do not get the noise in the room. Clean and helpful staff.

Shower water was cold when we took shower in the early morning hours (02:00)

Pleasant

It was within walking distance of the Citadel.

The rooms were not even close to soundproof. The music blaring from the street bars was going until after midnight. One of the reasons we picked this place was the note that it had soundproof rooms. Simply untrue. Breakfast was amongst the worst we have had in Vietnam. There was no water in the room in the morning for showers.
