The kitchen is listed as new but that is an old advertisement. The counter to far left moves away from the wall. The sink is 1970s old with old garbage disposal that was broken: my husband fixed. The dishes are mismatched and some are cracked. Utensils are bent. Kitchen had nice poop on counters and floor. Ceiling fans were all loose and missing light bulbs. Only one TV that lost reception several times. Mattress pads old and did not fit beds properly. Bathroom is very old and outdated which is why there is no picture of it. The outside of the house has wood rot and holes as the picture shown is not current. The owner of the property stays next door, seems very nice, but her dog barks a lot, and she needs to invest in updating this rental. Should not be rented until upgrades are made. I've rented in Sea Isle for 28 years and never stayed in a place this poorly maintained. As an essential healthcare worker that really needed a break, this was truly disappointing and I feel it was false advertising as the pictures represent a much newer home than what you actually get. I think we deserve a refund of some type especially since we had mice!! Do not rent this property!!

We stayed here for the week prior to the 4th of July. Overall the house was a disappointment. Here’s a few things we experienced. Location is good. It’s right near blitzs and a few restaurants so in this covid era where takeout is a big part of vacationing, so it was nice to have a few options really close by. The exterior of the house is rough. The pictures don’t paint this place as the Ritz, but it’s much worse. There are holes in the siding, paint chipping everywhere. Just be prepared that it’s a rough looking house on the outside. Parking is in the dirt on the side of the property and with a township owned storage building next to that, it’s difficult to maneuver in and out. The yard is also mainly dirt and not stone, so it’s really hard to not drag dirt of sand in. It’s especially hard when the outdoor shower has no clear path to the house - the flagstones leading you are filthy and covered in dirt. The house itself was also not clean. We noticed mouse poop on Tuesday (reported it as soon as we saw it). An exterminator came Thursday but we saw poop on the kitchen counter everyday that week. There was also a ton of sand in the house, likely due to the yard issues i mentioned earlier. The house is also much smaller than it looks. There is no way 10 people can sleep there. We had 3 and it was tight. The main room is probably 8x10 and has a bunch of furniture. When family came to visit, 5 people felt claustrophobic. I wouldn’t stay here with more than 4 people. There was also some issues with the house connecting to ours. They had a dog (not sure if they own or just rented) who clearly has separation anxiety. There were 2 nights where the dog yelped loudly for several hours (yes hours). It woke my son and required us to use ear plugs since the dog cried until after 11. I attempted to contact the neighbors (went next door and knocked) those nights but it appeared they left the dog crated. The walls connecting are paper thin so this was really a bad experience. The last straw was the final day, we had friends coming to the beach with us and a car took one of our two spots. When I asked the person why he parked there he said “Tracy said I could.” I’m assuming Tracy is the homeowner, but it’s absolutely unacceptable that she is offering our spot without any contact with us. It’s zero respect for the renters who are paying for the week. I would recommend staying elsewhere, there are plenty of other options.
