Everything was simply sublime. I worked with the hotel staff to prepare a proposal for my now fiancé and everything went off without a hitch. Gigi,Riccardo, and every single member of the staff did such an amazing job in preparation and making our stay there welcome.
We’re already planning our return trip to see what feels like close friends again.
Nothing could’ve been better. The property and the experience was amazing.

The staff service is super considerate, especially Mr. Gregorio, Thank you very much for your excellent service and sincere smile. You make us feel at home in borgo pignano. There is also a Bro who came from a distance to make ice cream for us. Thank you for your service. I'm very sorry for forgetting to ask your name.
In short, everything here feels good, delicious food and wine. enjoy everything here very much. I hope to come here again.

Everything about this place, from the staff, the property and facilities, rooms and food was magical. The general manager was also delightful, he made us feel right at home. Recommend this for couples or families looking for some R&R.

The property was stunning! We loved how well laid out it was so you felt like you almost had the beautiful property all to yourself. Beautiful infinity pool with amazing view. Wonderful views of the country side from many different locations!

Location was exactly what we wanted - glorious isolation in 800 acres of estate grounds with stunning views across the Tuscan countryside. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with fresh eggs cooked to order. Most food is grown or reared on site, including their own excellent wine and olive oil, so freshness is guaranteed. The property was a lovely, historic but very well maintained Manor House with converted stables and out buildings supported by friendly, attentive staff.
Minor things really. A few more sun loungers by the main infinity pool would have been good. Same with the seating on the main lawn and at breakfast - at busy times the hotel could do with a few more lawn chairs plus shaded areas for breakfast outside. Some sections of the wonderful biking/hiking trails were so overgrown as to be impassable.

The attention to detail and care from the staff was just fabulous!
You had to book the restaurants and one was fully booked during our stay. Always feels weird when you can’t eat in the hotels own restaurant. But now we know. When we come back we will book in advance!

We loved everything! We fell in love with the property and our room in an instant! Gigi was the best manager onsite. Drinks, dinner and breakfast were so wonderful. The swimming pool is amazing with the view. We will come back again and it is totally worth staying there for a few nights and dining there. The chef was amazing. We plan to do more activities there next time too!

We loved everything about Borgo Pignano - the lovingly restored villa, the iconic view of the surrounding Tuscan hills, the delicious locally-grown and sourced food, the immaculately maintained grounds, the extensive system of hiking trails, the truly unforgettable inifinity pool, and all of the thoughtful and personalized touches. The staff were above and beyond helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends! We can't wait to come back and stay longer.

Breakfast was excellent and location was beautiful!
I would have like a little less flies. More enforcement of no kids in the 12+ pool.

The location was breathtaking. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of area to explore. The buildings are so historic and exactly what you want in a Tuscan getaway. The on site activities are a joy and the food and drinks are lovely. The staff is wonderful.
I could not figure out how to get the AC in the room to work. Thankfully, it was the spring and the AC was not needed. We opened the windows. I wish we had one extra day to explore. One extra note: some people pre-hired cars to get them there. We ended up deciding to rent a car from Florence. There are no available taxis. Pre-plan the car hire or plan to rent a car. Bonus: renting a car and driving in the Tuscan hills is a blast. Plus you can explore the near-by towns.

Absolutely everything!! From the minute we arrived the front desk staff set the tone for this completely first class experience.
Everyone from the thoughtful wait staff, Gigi and his informative and friendly private property tour, Teresa and Barbara who provided an excellent ridding experience, I would highly recommend booking with them if you enjoy ridding through the beautiful Tuscany country side, to the poolside server who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
We loved our time at Borgo Pignano!
There was nothing not to like…… well except it rained everyday, even still we had an amazing experience.

Iconic location with stunning view. Very quiet and relaxing. A lot of own produce gets on the table and in the glass. Gigi is always caring with love and dedication.

At a loss for words for how stunning the property is. All I can say is Wow. The property includes every type of amenity you can think of. The staff were truly amazing as well, each and every one of them, from the management to the waiters, etc. We developed relationships with each one of them in such a short time. i can say that I’ve never experienced a hospitality as good as the one at Borgo Pignano. i will recommend this hotel to every single one of my friends and family looking to visit Tuscany. And surely I will be back on my next trip to Italy.
We loved everything.

Borgo Pignano is in a stunning location.
The grounds and the house are well maintained
and beautiful.
The adult only pool is perfect, the views are
phenomenal and the perfect place to waste away the day.
The bar man at the poolside was fantastic and provided
outstanding service.
The drinks (cocktails) are delicious and prepared
expertly.
The reception staff were really helpful.
This hotel should stop advertising itself as a romantic
escape for couples. It is very much a high end and
exclusive family resort.
We came here for part of our honeymoon and felt a little bit
out of place.
The adults only pool is not adults only, and is frequented
by children under the supposed age restriction.
The restaurant in the evening is open to all ranges
(0-16), which
is understandable as a family resort but not clearly
described upon booking.
The restaurants are ‘okay’, but has very clearly adapted to
the tastes of the demographics using the hotel.
The waiting staff appear flustered and lacking direction
we spent a reasonable amount of time (it felt) being
ignored when trying to order drinks. This was
especially evident in the evening when trying to order a
drink after dinner (we left and went to bed on two
occasions after waiting for >20
minutes).
It was also disappointing that the bar appeared to be
packed up and closed at 2200 - we’re not ready for
bed at that time!!!
The hotel has an impressive collection of beautiful
artwork, but no one working knew anything about it.
The room was nice, very comfortable. The AC was
extremely loud and woke us up a lot.
The bathroom was good, but would benefit from a
dedicated shower.
Overall, this is a very nice hotel. However (at least from
our perspective) it was extremely family oriented, so
probably not best suited to couples looking for a
romantic escape.

Stunning location. Very relaxing stay. The cocktails were divine and breakfast was amazing.
The restaurant service was a bit clunky and quite slow. The meals were over priced for what they were. The cocktails were also very pricey however the mixologist was excellent.

we loved the view, the location, the customer service, the food, the infinity pool - the whole hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The facilities are amazing, the outdoor bar is lovely, the al fresco dining - just everything is perfect.
if we’re being really fussy, the aircon in the room wasn’t the best - the weather was exceptionally warm (38/40 degrees) and the aircon couldn’t really cope with getting the room cool in those temperatures.

Everything - fabulous. Will return - soon we hope!

Breakfast very good.
beautiful location and views.
excellent facilities.
great staff
It might have been nice to have an area for adults without children to relax in.
