Situated in Ramona, this attractive house for $521 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. For Three day weekends & Holidays there is a three day minimum. THE DELL in RAMONA is a quiet, peaceful, comfortable 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home that is right next door to a winery, minutes from Ramona center, close to Julian and Wild Animal Park. Every bedroom has WiFi, Smart TVs, Dish and a view. The house sleeps 8 comfortably and has too many extras to mention, if your going out or staying in to cook we have all your needs. Perfect for a weekend of wineries and micro brews and fine food. We also have a granny flat that is attached to the house that can sleep up to six, it has a full bath w/shower, smart 65" TV, Wifi, internet and separate entrance. The granny flat which can sleep up to six people rents out at a separate cost, it is not part of the house rental. You can rent the house and granny flat together.

My family and I (three of us) elected to stay at the "Dell" for Christmas. The home was beautifully decorated for the Holiday, inside and out. The spread out, 1 story, 3000+ square foot house was quiet (with its country setting, about 3 miles outside of Ramona), spacious with privacy with the 4 bedrooms, yet with an open plan in the sunken living room (with wood stove), kitchen and dining area. Our host, James, was a joy to communicate with both prior to our arrival and afterwards. We hope to return in the spring to see more of the local beauty and, perhaps, have some time to visit the local wineries and other attractions. We are sincerely appreciative of the wonderful Christmas we had!

We absolutely love this home! So beautifully decorated and spacious. James has house stocked with everything you could need. The backyard is so breathtaking with the view of the mountains and at night the stars while in the hot tub. We will be back James! Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Stayed here with my entire family, husband, 7 grown kids, significant others, and 2 grandkids, 14 people total. We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights for my son's wedding, and it was everything we needed and then some. The house is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable, it was very peaceful. The owner, James, is really nice and was very responsive to any questions we had. Everyone agreed that we would love to come back again.

This was my and my group’s second time staying at the Dell and we had a just as good visit as our first. The property is well kept and well stocked. Perfect for our group of 7, and we absolutely love the hot tub. We’re looking forward to coming back next year.

What a beautiful and perfect home to spend a holiday. Our party of 7 (plus our cat!) couldn't have been happier. The views, the relaxation, the amenities, the holiday decor, just the most ideal spot for a warm winter wonderland. James is an ideal host and gave great recommendations for holiday events. Close to San Diego for a quick day trip, including a show at The Old Globe. This place lives up to it's perfect reviews and more!

We celebrated Pre Thanksgiving with the California family. The home is perfect for large family gatherings. All bed linens and towels are top quality and very clean. The beds are also very comfortable. Every bedroom has a TV which was wonderful for those wanting to retreat and relax in their own room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were whistle clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and has an open concept which allows for easy conversation during meal prepping. The refrigerator could have used a good scrubbing before our stay. There are plenty of tables and chairs for sit down meals and card playing. Most of our time was spent outside watching the hummingbirds zing by and looking at the most gorgeous sunsets. The heated spa was a special treat too. The owner, James, communicated often to ensure we had everything we needed. He thought of everything for making this beautiful home feel like “home away from home” from luxurious bedding and towels to fresh eggs and bacon upon arrival. We were impressed the moment we walked in the front door. Very spacious, clean, comfortable, and well stocked kitchen. (Including bacon, eggs, creme, and butter). The grounds were Beautiful as well. James, the host, showed us around, answered questions, and gave us a tour of the grounds as well as a little history. All beds were comfortable, with nice bedding, and bathrooms well stocked with towels. Various family members stayed here for 2 days to attend a Ramona wedding. We also rented out the attached granny flat. It was such a Positive Experience and we all want to make plans to return.

We stayed at the Dell for a long weekend before getting back to the school grind. The property feels hidden away and is perfect for getting away from it all, but is just a few miles down from the town of Ramona, and approximately an hour from Carlsbad. There is a winery next door, and many more within a short driving distance.
The property itself was much larger than I expected. We had 2 couples and a child in our party, and could have easily accommodated double that. The living room, kitchen, and patio were spacious and very comfortable. We spent a good portion of our stay keeping cool in the pool.
The house was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely plan to book again.

Phenomenal Property
Our Family came for a weekend getaway. Celebrating a birthday as well as Father’s Day. We fit with room to spare. The photos do not do justice, everything far exceeded our expectations. The owner is amazing, the attention to detail is so appreciated. Love, love, love, nothing negative to report. Definitely highly recommend and will hopefully be returning soon.

This was our second stay at the Dell and once again James exceeded expectations. He was quick to respond when we had technical difficulties and ensured our stay was exactly as promised. We will definitely be back again for our annual wine weekend!

Fortunately, the venue allowed the entire wedding to be hosted at Milagro Vineyard but we did have the rehearsal dinner at the VRBO. The best thing about the property is the outside living space!! It never felt crowded, the kitchen was fully stocked for a large group meal prep. The owner is the most responsive person I have ever dealt with. Everyone that came to the house was very impressed. We had 9 people staying with us, the bride used the casitas that is attached and that is where we got ready for the wedding, which worked out amazingly! I highly recommend this place!

We gathered to celebrate the transition into motherhood, and we’re looking for a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful place to create a fun weekend sanctuary. The estate provided the perfect backdrop for the weekend, and we were so impressed with the house.
It was even more spacious than the photos presented, full of art, books, and well placed things, plus a full quality kitchen with extra food and the most glorious outside spaces. We stayed in all weekend, cooking in the sweet kitchen and eating al fresco outside, enjoying time in the pool and hot tub, and sleeping in the most comfy beds.
The host, James, was a pleasure to coordinate with, met us on-site for tips and advice, and responded genuinely to all our communications. Went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It truly felt like home. Everyone loved the stay, and we thought it was an incredible value for the best VRBO we’ve stayed in.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
There were a total of five us that stayed at James’ property for a long weekend and we had an amazing stay. The house is stocked with everything you need including some basic groceries. We especially enjoyed the barbecue and the jacuzzi. The views are spectacular and it was very private. We are already looking forward to staying here again.

We have never stayed at a place where the owner leaves bacon and eggs for you in the refrigerator just in case you didn’t have a chance to make it to a store. Wow! The owner was totally available if we had questions and checked in by text, but was not intrusive; a perfect host! The bed was comfortable, the shower exceptional and we loved, loved, loved the hot tub. The neighborhood was quiet as well . Like I said. Quarantine Wine Weekend
We had a great stay in Ramona! James was super helpful in walking us through every amenity and made it feel like a home away from home! The house was spotless and more than enough space for us. I rented The Dell for a weekend getaway with my girls in honor of my 30th birthday. We were looking for a beautiful spacious home to let our hair down and relax and The Dell did not disappoint. The property is absolutely beautiful. The space was clean and very well decorated. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the huge master bedroom. It has sort of a luxurious feel to it and lets right out onto the patio where we spent most of our time enjoying the pool and amazing views. The space was really just perfect.Everything was well stocked. We stayed in a cooked the whole weekend and we had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed having access to the bbq grill. James was a fantastic host. Check in and out was super simple. Communication prior to the visit was a breeze and he was also easily accessible during our stay to answer questions. We had a small issue the last night of our stay with the adjoining flat but James was more than willing to accommodate and resolve the issue.We truly had an amazing time. I will be back!
