Michigan city inn wasn't accessible. No entrance visible. However the comfort inn which was the building to the south seemed to be connected and honored my prepaid room and I stayed at comfort inn instead. I really liked the room layout the bedding was very comfy and the staff were accommodating to my needs and gave me an extra 30 minutes to shower quickly and check out as I was away from the hotel since early in the morning working nearby.
Michigan city inn has no clear lobby or place to check in. Rooms look like some people are living there.
