港に近く、ちょうど泊まった日にマルシェをしておりそれも楽しめました。
静かな部屋で、シャワールームも清潔でした。
エアコンの埃が少し気になりました。

Nice people and big room. The location was near the sea, and I was able to store my bicycle in the lobby.
There are signs everywhere not to smoke in rooms or on hallways, but there was a bit of smell of smoke on the hallways. But fortunately the smell did not get into the room.

Staff were friendly and were happy for us to leave luggage with them when we arrived 3 hours prior to check in.
They also helped arrange to have our luggage sent on to Onomichi while we cycled the Shimanami Kaido.
Room was spacious and futon beds were comfortable. Tastefully/traditionally decorated with good amenities. Well located for the nearby port cycle rental shop (just around the corner)
Shared bathrooms are functional but unspectacular (on the top floor, at least, the basins are tiny and the bathroom is quite cramped).
The sliding screen walls of each room have storage space between them (only accessible from one room, so you can't get from one room to another through the walls!), but their relatively close proximity means that if you have neighbours who, say, turn on the TV at 6am and talk loudly then you're likely to hear it. But then that's really an issue of how in/considerate your fellow travellers are and is easily fixed with ear plugs!
On a wider scale, Imabari was very quiet, almost deserted, the 24 hours we were there. Lots of shops closed (possibly closed down?), but we did find some quaint little bookshops and cafes.
