The kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances and a gas range while the rest of the home boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to accommodate the whole family. Both the front and the back of this private home have enclosed screened porches for your enjoyment. Perfect for taking in all of your gorgeous marsh views which surround you. Less than a 10-minute walk to the beach and you'll have your own outdoor shower for when you return. This property will feel less like an Inn and more like a home from the moment you arrive! This property is certain to be a family favorite. The West Indie Inn does not allow pets. All photos are current and accurately depict the property. Please book with confidence. Comfortable, updated home with 4 BR, 2BA suited our group of 4 (long-graduated) college pals perfectly. The listing’s pictures don’t do it justice. We enjoyed the comfortable living room with space for all of us to gather, and the amazing screen porch… a great place to have happy hour while sunset colors the sky. Most of Folly’s restaurants and shops are about a 0.5 mile walk away. Be aware that two of the BR are quite cozy, but that wasn’t an issue for us. The home is elevated, as most of Folly Beach is, so expect to walk a long flight of stairs when you come or go. Charleston is a 30-ish minute drive away, and we spent one of our days touring there.

Perfect location and really great house! Very walkable to the beach but if you want to frequent the bars and shops on a long weekend I recommend getting a golf cart. Overall was a really great experience.

I wish the property manager communicated expectations in the property listing instead of after we booked. (Examples: thermostat settings, photo id and age requirements) The blue shower handle controls the hot water and red controls cold in the outdoor shower.

This property was better than the pictures. Very quiet neighborhood but close to the beach and downtown Folly. Beautiful sunsets off the back deck. Very clean. The kitchen had modern appliances and included anything you’d ever need and more. Very spacious for our party of 6 adults and 3 kids. Would stay there again and recommend to family and friends!!!!!

We immensely enjoyed our stay @ The West Indie Inn. The home was laid out perfectly with four nice bedrooms and an open kitchen and great room. The screened-in porch was so relaxing over the marsh. We would most definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home on Folly

We couldn't have enjoyed the house more, I feel like the pictures don't do it justice. We spent hours laughing and chatting on the shady screened back porch, watched beautiful sunsets and even took in a lightening storm. The beds are comfortable, the house well equipped with linens and kitchen accessories. The private outdoor shower and the jacuzzi tub make for luxurious vacation. Hopeful to return to this gem of a vacation rental one day!

Plenty of room,clean except bloody hand print on bedroom door I called about and wasn’t resolved.Refrigerator malfunction with fridge full of food and had to buy a cooler plus ice.College fridge brought over promptly but too small.Trouble with door lock promptly resolved and maintenance personnel great.The property other than those things was much appreciated

We loved our stay- classic beach house well built and simple pleasant boho/Asian decor. Plenty of kitchen items, pillows, blankets. Beds were confortable (and we are fussy) bathrooms in good shape. Loved the marsh porch and the outdoor shower. Easy house to stay in. I suggest renting a golf cart or pull cart for beach trek. Bring books and cards. We finished the Salvador Dali puzzle, showed it to the dog and he growled at it. For TV people (we aren’t but watched Wimbledon) main room set is small but large wall mounted in master and guests rooms. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet. An easy walk to Main Street. Would definitely go back!!

This property was excellent for my family gathered together to celebrate our grandson's first birthday. The house/property was gracious, spacious and beautiful. Beach is a quick 10 minute walk away. Everyone had access to privacy when wanted, and the gathering space was perfect!

Having paid what I paid for this property it was surprising to see mold in the washer, TVs that didn’t work or have channels! This house was strictly rental furniture! The beds were metal frames and not comfortable! For what I paid I would have expected much more from a Charleston home having lived there for many years! Bringing people down to Charleston and folly beach to experience that charm didn’t happen! Couldn’t find beach towels, beds were broken and no way to entertain on nights in! Wasn’t what they made it out to be. Windows were busted and we had absolutely no interaction with the property people at all! The experience was not what was expected and very disappointing! Having stayed in a hotel the night before we were EXTREMELY disappointed the next day and throughout the stay about this property and what they charged per night! Plants were dying, things not up to par and just utterly unworthy the money they charged. The couches separated everytime you sat on them and you couldn’t find extra linens if needed! To us the experience lacked the charm needed for a place like this

This home was perfect for our annual family vacation. We found everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed relaxing on the back screened porch. The location was perfect for walking and golf cart rides, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy after an afternoon at the beach. No complaints from this group! We had a great week.

We had a nice family reunion over Veterans’s Day weekend. Folly is quieter but still lots of options to stroll to in town and everything else a short drive to Charleston. The house was as we expected and we’d certainly like to stay there again perhaps next time in warmer weather!

House was nice and as described in the listing. Location was fantastic! Far enough away from the main drag to avoid the noise and traffic but close enough to easily walk to everything, including the beach.
