This stay felt truly authentic, as the owners live on site and share the facilities with guests. They are very friendly, and even though they don't speak any English, they managed check-in smoothly using Google Translate. Responsiveness was excellent — when one room's AC unit failed on the first night, they arranged for a technician to come out that same Saturday and relocated us to another room the next day just as a precaution. Breakfast was traditional and continental, simple but tasty, with home-made cakes. The pool felt private since there are only four rooms in total, two of which were ours. Rooms stayed comfortably cool, the AC recovered quickly after power cuts from the card-based system, and its quiet mode let us run it overnight. Hot water was plentiful with good pressure.
The access road is rough, littered with stones and potholes. Parking can be a bit of a challenge with three or more cars, though it's behind a gate so it feels secure. Our bathroom was small with very little storage, which was a bit of a challenge as a contact lens wearer, while the other room's bathroom was noticeably bigger. The TV is built into a picture-frame-style unit that restricts access to the ports, making it impossible to connect a laptop via HDMI.

Tidy house, very friendly staff - mainly family members, my partner loved the Capuchinos served with the breakfast, swimming pool was great and absolutely essential in the extreme hot weather. Lovely garden to sit down and have breakfast and lunch. Nice hall entrance area. We arrived late due flight delay, but they helped us to find the place and get us checked in.
Tiling and some woodworks were damaged, (difficult to get proper workmanship in Sicily) as we observed. Airconditioning unit leaked water, but it was serviced fast. The room was nice but felt like a basement, initially was difficult to get used to, but finally we managed. Since I am an engineer, I spot any little thing, but these are small issues, you will enjoy your stay at this house. It is advised to get a car if you stay or want to move around in Aspera area as train stops early. And in hot weather almost impossible to walk more than 20 minutes. We had quite adventurous arrival with a half drank pirot 'taxi' driver. Mind those people, rather stick to mainstream provider.

What a lovely hidden gem. Down a dusty path off the main road is this beautiful bed and breakfast. The staff are wonderful and despite our language differences were friendly, welcoming and full of information. The house has 4 rooms on the ground floor. Breakfast was plentiful and served outside under cover. The rooms are decorated to a high standard each with their own theme. Everywhere clean and fresh. The pool area was lovely too. Plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. Pool temperature perfect.....just cool enough to freshen you up. Highly recommended.

Sympathetic staff, nice terrace with a view and pool open all the time, closeness to Palermo.
The 200 meters dirt road full of stones and holes, which is the only way how to get to the property. We were afraid of tyre puncture. The room had only one small window high up not accessible. It was also close to the kitchen, so one could hear the noice coming from there in the morning.
