Nestled in Rodanthe, this lovely house for $214 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. OCEANVIEW Rodanthe - Sea Oats Dr. Time really does come to a standstill when you cross the bridge or ferry onto Hatteras Island. Slow down and relax, you're at BRIGHTWATERS, just 4 lots from the ocean. Brightly colored walls, blonde-wood wainscoting and trim, spacious rooms, and lots of windows keep the mood light, bright and relaxed. A covered, weather-proof entry leads to 2 downstairs bedrooms that share a bath. On the second floor is a master bedroom with its own bath. This bedroom opens onto a deck with a view of the ocean. Two bedrooms on the second floor share a bath; one of them opens onto the deck with ocean views. Upstairs is an open living and kitchen area with a deck and ocean view. It's an easy walk to the famous Rodanthe surf breaks, convenience stores and tackle shops, and the Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station. Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized. This property is managed by Surf or Sound Realty. More payment options available after booking. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out. There was alot of things broken in this house. The dryer dosnt dry, one of the beds is broken, blinds are broken, outside furniture broken. There are no trash cans in the bathrooms. The linens on the beds are old and not very comfortable. Aomething in the kitchen smells like mildew and there are not enough pot's and pans when teuing to cook for alot of people. The house is in a good location but was not very nice.

1. Loaded gun with bullet in the chamber left at cottage from previous guest. Thank God it was my husband who found it and not one of the kids. 2. Filthy= With Covid this unbelievable.... 3. Only 2 of the 5 advertised TV'S work. 4. No trundle beds as advertised, thin matress slid under the bunk bed. 5. Outdoor shower= Warm water nozzle is broken off so you only have cold water. 6. Trash on arrival= 2 cans overflowing with trash blowing around everywhere all over the yard. Rental company not quick at responding to this. So we had to keep our trash in the cottage from Saturday to Monday at 3:30pm.

It rained and the entire Parking lot was mud. TV’s were hard to work in bedrooms. Spa cover was saturated with water and almost impossible to remove. I’m a 240llbs man and a weight lifter and I could barely put cover back on. Hose bib handles were rusted beyond reason and deck was slippery when wet and ice maker did not make ice. Outdoor shower head was rusted and it didn’t work properly. There was white dog hair on the couch and I am allergic to dogs

I didnt notice the first week cause It was just me but my nieces and nephew spent the weekend and i didnt know till after the fact but they froze down there cause theres only a thermostat on top and middle floor ,i tested it and theres vents but barely blowing anything so upstairs is an oven in order to get downstairs a lil warmed, hot air rises ya know,I needed a 4 wheel drive to drive on the road to the house,they filled it with dirt on my last day.....internet only went out at night 4 separate times,power was out all morning one day,had to call you guys to fix it,I faceplanted on the top step cause whoever's put your handrail up did it wrong and only put 2 screws in the sheetrock,I didnt bring my screwdriver so I couldn't completely put it back,shouldn't advertise a grill when that is what you have,I was afraid to use it cause I didnt want to catch botulism, and it's weird that none of the bathrooms have garbage cans
