Nestled in Shreveport, this attractive house for $450 per night is a great option for your next break. This custom designed renovation is a clean, contemporary, upscale 4 bedroom / 4 bath, 3,400 square foot beauty of a lake house, completed in late 2014 and now available for those who demand a quality home-away-from-home for business or pleasure. Free high-speed wi-fi is included so you can stay connected with all of your mobile devices. We’ve hosted people from many walks of life since we started renting out this property. Getting to know a little about our guests before booking helps us feel comfortable about who will be staying in our home and has actually been one of the most interesting parts of the process. So, if you don’t mind sharing a few general tidbits like where you're from, what line of work you’re in, what brings you to Shreveport, etc., we’d love to hear a little about you and your group when you submit your booking request… Thanks! NOTE: WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, even if they are cute, well-trained, hairless, or will "just be visiting for a little while" with local friends or family. Violation of this rule will FORFEIT THE ENTIRE SECURITY DEPOSIT for extra cleaning fees and rule violation penalty and represents grounds for immediate eviction with no refund. Though we are pet-lovers ourselves, we had to impose this strict rule in consideration of our other guests, our housekeeping staff, and our own family members, some of whom have severe pet-related allergies. Accordingly, there will be no exceptions made. Thank you for your understanding and compliance. Description: Expansive glass doors in the dining area and master bedroom are fitted with remote-controlled shades and offer a beautiful view of Cross Lake. The gourmet kitchen has a wonderful 4 burner 48” Wolf stove (gas) with a double griddle and two convection ovens (electric), an oversized Wolf vent hood, an oversized chef’s pantry, separate, full-size Subzero refrigerator and freezer, a separate soft-crunch (Sonic) ice-maker, a quiet Bosch dishwasher, a motion-activated (touchless) faucet and a foot (toe) activated disposal. The gorgeous waterfall-style island between the kitchen and den is built with custom stone and has 3 bar stools. A new dining room table that seats 10 was added in August 2019. The den features a glass-enclosed linear gas fireplace and hidden audio-visual storage area, making for a great entertainment space. The 65" 4K LED TV is the only television in the house, and is equipped with Xfinity cable, Netflix and a DVD player. The master suite features a huge bedroom with king bed and spacious en suite with oversized tub, multi-head shower and L-shaped closet that is to die for. Each of the other three bedrooms has its own job-built tile glass-enclosed showers, custom stone countertops or sleek pedestal sink, and high-end fixtures. Hot water for the entire house is unlimited with a gas-fired tankless water heater. Lighting throughout is high efficiency, low maintenance LED cans or fluorescent. Sleek, modern, ceiling fans are in each living area. The double decks on the back of the house as well as the two-slip covered boat dock and pier are all built with light-colored maintenance-free aluminum decking that is almost always cool enough to walk on with bare feet. Deck and dock both have see-through cable railing for unencumbered views. And the outside shower with hot and cold water is great for cooling off or enjoying a fresh rinse after a day in or on the lake.

If we could rate this house 10 stars we would. It is beaufiful, clean, LOVED the sonic ice machine, beds and pillows were comfortable and we enjoyed the large sofa and dining table. We were 3 families and had so much space. We made great memories at the lake house.

This is my family's second stay at this wonderful lakefront retreat. The only issue we had was that on this trip the TV's were not working. This wasn't an issue for us as we weren't there most of the time, and in fact, didn't notice it until we tried them for the first time 3 days into our stay! But having dealt with the wonderful owners in the past I am 100% certain they would have fixed them same day had I called to report it. Instead, when my young grandson came by for a short visit, I had a better idea: I will forever remember this stay as the place I taught him how to fish. Not only did he catch a small bass off the dock, but I landed a 3-pounder using a silver spoon lure! Thanks, owners, for helping me make that special memory! Will definitely stay here every time I'm in Shreveport!

Absolutely enjoyed our visit. The pictures provided do not accurately show just how amazing the home really is. Owners were very kind and communicate very well. Anything we felt we needed that was not present they tried to provide. I enjoyed the "instruction manual" to their home. That was a wonderful touch and very thoughtful. Our children enjoyed the leggos provided. Only issue we had was with no garage remote we ended up letting a ton of bugs in often. Had to enter the front door to manually open the garage with wall switch which let more and more bugs in. An attempt WAS made by the owners to provide and replace a remote that went missing from previous renters. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends, family, and colleagues.

Everything was as shown in the listing or better, with no bad surprises. Our host, Joey (perfect host!) was in contact before our arrival and texted to check on us during the stay, asking if there was anything we needed. View is fabulous, and the accommodations were as shown. All appliances worked, the house was very clean. Excellent location, address is easy to see/find, which was important b/c I ordered groceries and other items to be delivered and they arrived with no problems whatsoever. An excellent place and wonderful experience. I have already booked a return to this house in October.

Most attractive space in Shreveport. Loved what you did with the property and renovations. Would love to stay again. Other than a swarm of bugs covering the property 2 nights in a row It was awesome stay. We stayed in most of the time. My Mother Loved every night of it for her 80th birthday staycation present

The six of us loved our extended weekend at this house. It was comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The view of the lake was amazing. The house was clean and the neighborhood was was safe and beautiful. The only complaint that I heard from our group was that the Wi-Fi was a little weak. We would definitely stay again.

This home is absolutely beautiful! The high end appliances and cultural rich decorations were first to catch our eye when we walked in, and the bountiful fishing off of the dock really took everything over the edge.
Joey was an amazing host and he went above and beyond anything I ever expected of him. The day we arrived I bet I texted him about 5-10 messages and he quickly responded every time and helped us get settled.
We had two families with kids ranging from 7-13. We all comfortably fit in the home, including a cozy movie night on the large sectional. I would suggest discussing room arrangements ahead of arrival if two couples will be staying here. All though the entire house is absolutely beautiful, the master suite is massive and full of luxury amenities that won’t compare to the other rooms by far.
Mom tip: If you have never been to Shreveport, there are not a ton of “kid activities.” Before arrival, set the tone with the little ones as far as what your plans are. Going in all of our kids knew this was a fishing/relaxing/board games and family time. They all had a great time and not one kid mentioned they missed their Xbox. We had to practically make them come inside to even eat.
You will be so happy if you get the chance to experience this house.

Large and spacious lakefront home. Plenty of room to spread out. All 4 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms which came in handy as well all dressed for a family wedding. The master suite is huge and you feel like your over the water as you look out. We highly recommend this home and would stay there again without hesitation.

The house was nice and accommodated all 8 of us nicely. One bedroom closet had books and no place to put clothes. The ovens had to be cleaned before using. The bugs were so bad that it wasn't pleasant sitting on the deck. The toe-kick button for the disposal was a nuisance. Better instructions for the dishwasher would have been nice. The sofa was more of a bed than somewhere to sit. It's very deep. A couple of side chairs would have been nice. We laughed a lot and enjoyed our stay. It was nice. Thanks.

We were coming in from all over the country for a relative’s birthday celebration. Everyone was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the home and setting was. The pictures just didn’t do it justice. Even our local family members were very impressed and were interested in renting the property at some point. We would love to come back again. It was very spacious and well appointed.

We traveled from various states to vacation with my in-laws. House was great! My favorite part was the kitchen, it is a chef's dream. I will say for the size of the kitchen and the amount of people the house accommodates there could be more/larger cookware and serving pieces but we made due with borrowing some larger pots from family that lived nearby so no big deal. The kids enjoyed the games and having lots of space both inside and out to run around. We didn't catch any fish but we did see some jump out the water and saw some snakes in the water. The neighbors are also lovely & friendly people. Location is also close to anything you may need for your vacation. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again!

Great house right on the lake. We used the house as our hub for family in town for a memorial. Loved the great room and kitchen layout. Both decks right off the lake make it easy to take in a gorgeous sunset. We rented a boat and jet ski’s at Barron’s Landing a mile and a half down the road. The house was perfect!
