Situated in Mission Beach, this attractive condo for $310 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Summary: This sparkling new condo is fully equipped, from the bedroom to the beach, we got you covered! Wonderfully located in center of Mission Beach and the bay, so you'll be 1 block to the boardwalk, and conveniently close to the bustling business district on Garnet Ave as well. The Space: This wonderfully updated 1 bedroom 1 bath unit is located on bayside in Mission Beach just south of Santa Clara. Completely renovated with no expense spared you will not want for anything during your stay. Fully updated and stocked kitchen. The step in shower and updated bath are spotless! There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and an air mattress if needed for extra people. And did we mention the air conditioning? We have all that you need for the beach (chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogies boards) and even have space to lock up your bikes in the courtyard. This is the lower level 1BR and it opens into the courtside patio. Guest Access: The patios are a shared common area but each unit has its own set of outdoor furniture. Note your patio furniture is in the front of the complex looking at Ormond on the left. The Neighborhood: Mission Beach is an amazing coastal community designed around "courts" with all of the residences facing one another across a sidewalk. That design creates a cozy and homey feel (and also limits the amount of car traffic) making Mission Beach the ideal spot to "live at the beach" Enjoy several miles of long, flat boardwalks for riding bikes or skateboards or just going on a stroll at sunset. Restaurants, bars and amusement parks are all within walking distance. And of course, the beach on one side to surf or the bay on the other for more casual water play (unless you decide to kayak, stand-up paddle board or sail...all rental options are just minutes away) Getting Around: Please note that there is no parking at this residence and street parking tends to be difficult find in peak season. You can always park in alleys (just look for breaks in the fire lanes or on Mission Blvd (Just check the street sweeping signs). If you head east on Santa Clara Pl towards the Mission Bay Aquatic Center, there is free daytime parking (not for overnight use). Next to Santa Clara is the Mission Beach Women's Club, which offers paid parking when they have it (look for the envelopes by the door. Finally, in a pinch you can drop stuff off and then park in Ventura Cove and grab a Bird scooter and jet back to the property. Most of our guests never use their car once on site since everything at the beach is walkable (or Uber-able in a pinch). Other Things to Note: TThere is a fully stocked kitchen with all items needed to bake, cook or grill, pots/pans, cookie sheets, casserole dishes, outdoor plastic dishes, tin foil, knives, cutting board, blender, coffee maker, toaster, tea kettle, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, creamer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first aid kit, a/c & heat, wifi, Smart TV, hair dryer, iron, iron board, washer-dryer (coin operated), luggage rack, hangers, extra linens, pillows and blankets, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrellas, and patio furniture. For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement. Despite any stated cancellation policy, I will refund 100% for any cancellations made prior to 90 days from your arrival date. Thereafter I will refund your rental fee to the extent I am able to re-rent the unit for the days cancelled. Interaction with Guests: We are a self-service destination (check-in details will be sent 3 days prior to arrival). However, we are also a full-service, professional management company (that has been a Superhost/Preferred Partner for over 4 years running) and we are just a phone call/text/email away and have agents that are almost never more than 10 minutes away should a need arise.

Lovely location nestled between the bay and ocean. Directions to the place were a little confusing to both myself and Uber driver but with the help of a kind woman in the rental office was able to find it right away. I was very sad all the outdoor cushions were not only rain soaked but filthy; pretty much the reason why I rented this unit was because of this potentially lovely outdoor space. I understand they’ve gotten a lot of rain but the sun was shining when I arrived and those cushions should have been brushed off and set to dry in the sun!
The indoor space was great with a well stocked kitchen ( although ice in freezer was an old half used stale bag of ice I immediately threw out). I would also recommend better lighting; half the outdoor lights were burned out and minimal lighting inside with the exception of very bright overhead lighting ( can you spell mood spoiler) and the wall sockets were in hard to reach places as I wandered around wondering where to plug my things in.
The hair dryer was filled with old hair and dirt rendering it useless and disgusting. First time I opened the closet door the entire door came off its tracking!
I will close with saying the rental agency was very quick to respond to my calls; although most disappointed when they said there was nothing they could do about the wet/ filthy cushions outside.
Believe a little more attention to cleanliness lighting ( including easier access to wall sockets) would help this rental imensely.

Lovely downstairs unit (we were there in off season and could hear walking around in upstairs unit but nothing too outrageous) within walking distance of ocean beach, bay and restaurants, bars, etc. Had a very relaxing time and enjoyed our stay. Management easy to communicate with and entry a breeze. Unit was clean and ready for us (acceptable size for two). Only negative- a bit of an odor when first entered but I attributed to it being closed up and needing some air circulation. Fine afterwards.

This is a great property and will be on my "return" list. The property was clean, safe, and well-appointed. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable making for plenty of good sleep. It is one of few properties that has air conditioning and, although we didn't need it, it was wonderful to know it is there (there have been other San Diego visits where I wished I had it!) Location is ideal with easy access to both the ocean and the bay and surrounded by plenty of decent restaurants and coffee houses. Don't skip this gem if it is available!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. This bungalow had everything we needed, was comfy, and close to everything. The property was super easy to check in to and out of and the manager was very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

This has been one of the best experiences I've had. Being able to spend time with my 2 daughters (my oldest daughter lives here) has been wonderful! I don't think it would have been as great if I had stayed in a hotel. Thank you!

This was everything we needed and then some. The listing is as it shows online and the location could not be more ideal. Steps away from the bay and the ocean and walking distance to everything you want to enjoy in mission beach. We had a great time and Aaron was a great host, easy to communicate with and very accommodating!

Selected this place to be near family who rented a house one street over. Was a great space for exploring San Diego and seeing family & friends. Great location between the bay and beach. Love the courtyard in concept and practice and had pleasant interactions with several neighbors in the short time we were there. Was staying midweek so parking on the street was not bad. The unit was clean and well stocked. My 4yo is not a big fan of showers and there was no tub. But there was plenty of room in the shower for her to play with some toys while getting washed off so managed to get her clean enough for vacation!

This is a perfect place to stay to just completely get away. Everything I needed to enjoy the beach was here. Best part though- coffee included. I was able to walk to whale watching tour, Kroger’s and any kind of restaurant I wanted food from. Absolutely would stay here again!

Loved our apartment! It was perfect for my husband and me! Tastefully decorated, with modern amenities! We had everything we needed! We were so close to the bay, and we walked and rode our rental bikes daily! Parking is tough, so a small car is important. Would definitely stay at Aaron's rental again! Highly recommend!

This property is in a great location between the bay and the ocean on a sweet little street. The area was very quiet for sleeping but still super close to the main street for food and entertainment. It has a really well stocked kitchen with newer appliances and nice pots, pans, dishes etc., enough for 4 people. The bathroom was lovely too. Our only complaint was that it was advertised as having 2 beds with one being a sofa bed which is why we rented it. The sofa bed was broken and wouldn't unfold which left us having to alternate an adult sleeping on the sofa with a broken mattress underneath at an odd angle or on an air mattress for 5 nights. If we had been there only a couple of nights we wouldn't have minded but 5 nights was too many not to have a decent second bed. I would have appreciated a discount since the bed wasn't fixable during our stay but instead the manager just reminded me there was an air mattress. We wouldn't stay here again without a real second bed option but otherwise the house was great. It would be perfect for a couple or if folks had kids who don't mind an air mattress.

Directions to VRBO was acutely described.
Very very clean and organized. Perfect location. We walked around a lot. Took a Uber as needed because parking is limited. Host told us this before we came from Minnesota. The cottage was comfortable. Plenty of towels. The coffee was good. We enjoyed our time in the area.

Great location, clean, well maintained and fully stocked up place! Aaron’s responsiveness is 10/10. The place looks better in real life than on the pictures. It had fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, toys, even sunscreen! I would never think that I will need it in February, but I was wrong. The alley where the house is located is super cute. I sm glad the place wasn’t close to the road/traffic noise. But, the road is 1 min away. The beach is super close. Lots of restaurants around. I definitely recommend the place!

After spending over 25 Christmas vacations in Pacific or Mission Beach rental condos or houses, this unit is one of the best overall. Plenty of room and convenient to shops and free parking. The gas stove and air conditioning are a plus for this south exposure condo. Will definitely stay again in the future.

This place was exactly what we expected it to be from the listing on VRBO. It was clean, nicely decorated, and convenient. We loved being so close to the ocean. The Mission Beach neighborhood has a funky beach town vibe that we enjoyed. The property manager communicated with us and provided essential information. We were also able to check in a little early with no fuss.

The unit was just as pictured -- lovely and liveable. Spacious and fully equipped; the owner thought of everything you'd need (even supplied coffee). Bed was very comfortable and shower worked great. Nice patio out front; I liked having my own entrance. The perfect location -- beach on one side, bay on the other. The only negative was noise from the upstairs unit at night; some guys moved in mid-week and you could hear every step they took. Apart from that, the unit was perfect!

Spent the weekend here with my girlfriend. Location was great. Steps from the beach and a short walk from bars and restaurants. Far enough off the main road where it was nice and quiet at night. Loved the AC!
My main criticisms are parking and noise from the upstairs neighbors. Parking was definitely a challenge for us to find and we ended up having to park close to a mile away in pacific beach. On the neighbors, we were in the bottom unit and the ceiling seemed pretty thin. I woke up to them walking around the house at 6am getting ready for work.
Overall, great weekend rental but may not be the best option for a longer term stay mainly due to noise from upstairs.

Excellent accommodations! The location is great and very close to shopping and restaurants. Parking is a challenge but we always found a spot. Our host did give a heads up regarding parking and he did provide suggestions. We definitely would stay here again!

This beach bungalow is a beach lovers paradise. 65 steps to Mission Bay and two blocks from the Pacific Ocean. We loved the quality beach chairs and umbrellas that came with the well equipped bungalow. Great food, coffee shops and shopping are all within walking distance. We will be back.

The hosts have a laundry room full of beach supplies you can borrow! I love how walkable it is, I used my car one time in 5 days. There are shops and unique restaurants everywhere and we really enjoyed exploring the area.

Location is fantastic, close to ocean and bay! Nicely decorated,older property. Very well appointed, but not luxurious. Since we used bikes, the lack of parking wasn’t an issue. Maybe add a set of bikes as compensation for the parking situation 😀. We enjoyed our stay and would come back to this property, because the location can’t be beat 🌞.

We were initially going to bring our nephew making it two kids and two adults, but our nephew couldn’t come last minute. Thank goodness that happened because while there was a blow up mattress, there just wouldn’t have been room for a blowup mattress to be kept out with the furniture and for him to comfortably sleep. It’s perfect for two and if a 3rd is comfortable on the couch, you will love this condo. It’s perfect location for everything you would want to do, biking location for activities a little farther away, an a/c unit and lots of supplies for going to the beach. No need to pack chairs, umbrellas, sand toys or boogie boards as those are all available. The host was super quick to respond and we will stay there again. Hopefully the sofa bed is available next time as it would have been a little bit more comfortable for the kiddo. Thank you for providing this awesome space for our family!

Perfect little bungalow space for two people. We did a lot of walking around and sight-seeing so we didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the room but it was perfect for late night TV watching when we got back from our long days! Coffee and creamer was so nice to have and not have to buy daily. The only thing I didn’t realize was that the bathroom did not have a fan- not a huge deal we just opened the window but just something I wasn’t used to. Would definitely recommend!
