Peaceful, charming, value for money, full of character.

Please do not change the aesthetics of the hotel - I think this is what gives it its charm. It was clean, good value. full of character, good location - excellent price and facilities. The only minor inconvenience was not being able to shower in my own room but that was only a minor inconvenience. You do not need to update the decor or building otherwise it will lose its quiet, understated charm. Staff were helpful, respectful and not nosy - very kind. I hope to come and visit again. Nice place, close to centre, only 4 minutes drive

No lift, we have to carry luggage upstairs from reception to upper floor ourselves

I would definitely go back!

We loved being in the countryside. We rented bikes from the property to go into town. It’s a bit nerve racking biking in town but I’m pretty good on a bike.

I didn’t like the repeating music. They really need to do better on that score!
