The location is amazing, the stillness and quiet was greatly valued. The views were amazing as well.
The communication from Mountain Aloe Den through Booking.com were very responsive and helpful.
The kitchen facilities could have been better organised in both kitchens. It is great that shared kitchens are available to do your own cooking but it would be helpful to have those kitchens organised with decent cutlery, crockery, pots, and pans neatly organised and fairy new for cooking. Getting an updated BBQ/ braai would also be helpful since the current one is rusted and very old.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Mountain Aloe Den. If you’re looking for a real African experience at an affordable rate. The rooms are neat and the view spectacular.
Don’t expect cell reception af the property, phones keep switching to roaming to Swaziland because it so close to the border.

High up in the Mountain- this was truly a great experience for me and my siblings!! As cold as it was in the evening, grateful that all the rooms had heaters in them, enough blankets, a whole lot of warmth and comfort!! I also loved that our phones did not have signal// for me that is a formula to a real retreat and escape from the busy life and city. Ohhh and the outdoor showers 🙌🏽🤩🤩🤩breathtaking.
